I met my son at this restaurant on August 11, 2025 as part of my birthday week celebration. We visited this restaurant in the evening time so there were not a lot of customers at that time. We were greeted with professionalism and seated right away.
There were several items ordered from the menu. Our server was very helpful in answering our questions when we were deciding on what to order. She provided some useful insights. All items ordered came out within a short period of time. They did an awesome job with their delivery of the food and drinks.
We started with some drinks. The cold mango lemon tea was uniquely refreshing. It was a creative blend of flavors in my mouth. I enjoyed it very much.
I had the Edamame which was good but needed a little bit more salt. The popcorn chicken had an interesting flavor. It was nice and crispy and tasted like it had a little bit of a cinnamon or aromatic flavor to it. The green pepper fish dish was an acquired taste for me. It was very aromatic and had a unique earthy hearty flavor with a kick of spice to it. The more I ate, the more it grew on me. I enjoyed the Fried Mini Milk Bun. The texture and flavor reminded me of the Caribbean Journey Cakes.
My son was very excited about the authentic dishes that he ordered. He enjoyed them and was captivated by the flavors of each dish. The portion size was just right.
We had a comfortable and fascinating visit at this restaurant. There were quite a few dishes new to us that we had the opportunity to try. It was a bit of an educational experience for me. I gained some insight on some of the traditional and modified type of Chinese cuisine. We left feeling full...
Read moreTucked away from the usual suspects of General Tso and orange chicken lies a rare gem serving up the bold authentic flavors of Yunnan province, and trust me, your taste buds will want to send a thank you card. This isn’t your typical Americanized Chinese joint. No fluorescent sauces or dubious fortune cookies in sight. Instead, what you'll find is a refreshingly genuine menu celebrating the diverse and complex culinary traditions of Yunnan. I visited with a party of eight, including three pint sized gourmands in training, and the staff couldn’t have been more gracious: patient, friendly, and impressively unshaken by the chaos that inevitably trails children.
I opted for the DIY Yunnan noodles, which turned out to be both a meal and a minor adventure. The broth was rich, the toppings plentiful, and the customization options made me feel like a Michelin starred chef with training wheels. The portion sizes struck that magical balance between satisfying and not requiring a nap afterward, generous enough to feel full but not regretful. The kids? They devoured their meals with gusto and minimal bribes, which is perhaps the highest praise. The adults, myself included, were equally impressed by the depth and uniqueness of the flavors.
I’ll absolutely be back, and next time I’m bringing reinforcements. This place is a noodle lover's paradise that’s worth slurping your...
Read moreThe first thing we noticed when we entered was how clean and refreshing the place looked and its nice atmosphere. When we told them it was our first time there, they were very kind and helpful, discussing things like recommendations depending on our tastes with us. The popcorn chicken was extremely delicious even without dipping it in anything, it was cooked perfectly and the ingredients made it extremely flavorful.
The signature rice noodles were all very very good, and tasted extremely authentic. The people working there were very helpful and attentive. When I had accidentally dropped my chopsticks, they immediately noticed and brought us a new one before we even needed to ask.
We were curious about the Golden soup-base for the signature rice noodles and asked if we could try a sample, and they brought us a sample of the Golden soup for us to try, and that was also very delicious and sour due to the ginger.
We will definitely be coming back here, everything from the food to the service to the atmosphere were all extremely pleasant.
