This is really just a review about some employees I encountered there. There were two girls Bryana and Sydney who were standing at their registers doing some busy work waiting for the next customer to come through their line, it was pretty slow at that time, so they were quietly chatting among themselves, I walked up to the line and they smiled and greeted me enthusiastically. I had no problem with two co-workers taking a moment to chat with each other, especially when there weren't any customer's in their line... but a girl named ERIKA... (assuming their supervisor) came barreling down and very rudely SHOUTED at them in FRONT OF ALL THE CUSTOMERS -- "BETTER MAKE SURE YOU'RE NOT STANDING THERE TALKING TO EACH OTHER" It was so disgusting and it was clear she was purposely trying to embarrass them by reprimanding them in front of everyone. The only employee that came off unprofessional, rude and bad at their job WAS Erika. Clearly on a power trip, it's too bad someone didn't teach her how to be a better leader. I felt bad for those young girls. They did an EXCELLENT job ringing me up and bagging my groceries. They were kind, welcoming and efficient. I'm glad I was in their line and not ERIKA'S that's for sure. So 5 stars to Bryana and Sydney.... and 0 stars to Erika...and 2 stars to the store as a whole for letting Erika be such a jerk to her coworkers and in FRONT of the customers no less. I mean the store itself is actually fine, just really grossed out by how that girl treated her employees and wanted to talk about it. OH ALSO... before walking out I made it a point to walk in front of the customer service center where Erika was standing so that I could see her name tag... and she was standing there... leaning up against the counter NOT WORKING and..... GASP talking to her friends just laughing...
Read moreI switched to the pharmacy here and not only saved a ton on my self pay meds but the pharmacy lady is awesome! I even got a Christmas card from the pharmacy! It was signed by the staff and had a handwritten address. They are always pretty good at being helpful with my meds and dealing with my doctor's office. I was so fed up with walgreens. They were overpriced and often rude. I'm so glad I found good rx which led me to this Winn Dixie. I literally save $200 a month on my various medications compared to walgreens!
The store itself is ok. It is cheaper than publix which I like. It's actually much cleaner than the Winn Dixie I used at my last place. They staff is ok. My only complaint is that some stuff is very limited in selection. For example, it is cheaper to buy applesauce cups at publix because they have generic as well as a variety of name brand options. The applesauce at this Winn Dixie is super small and very limited. There are no generic options for the applesauce. It's not so prevalent that it takes away from my satisfaction from the store. I just visit publix once a month to get the few things that are cheaper there.
Otherwise, this is cheaper than publix on the whole and the plenti card gives you cash back on the card that you can use on future purchases. It's actually been more that I expected to get,...
Read moreI went in there at 7:00 a.m. this morning to get groceries, BTW, I got them all, and i have to use one of the disabled scooters, like i always do, and the last 3 times i have went in there the cart wont even hold a charge to make it around the whole store ! So, i went in when they 1st opened today so hopefully I'd have a cart with a full charge, well even at the beginning of the day it had less than 1/2 a charge... to get around the whole store. So i went up with my groceries, and went up to check out, and they then tell me that the cashiers don't start till 9:00 a.m. Now that's stupid ! Can't win for losing, go in early to have a cart to get around to get groceries, then there is nobody to check me out ! I had at least 200 in groceries in that little basket, I refuse to use one of those self checkouts, they aren't paying me to do their job, soooo, I only had one choice, that was to leave them at the door and leave. Guess, I'll have to spending my money at publix. And I spend at least 600 a month there at this store, I'm sure Publix would love to get...
