Sierra — Local services in Castle Rock

Purchased a toy remote control car for my daughter for Christmas. Put brand new batteries in the car and remote and the car did not work. The car was defective at the time of purchase. I tried to return the car to the store and the store refused to accept return, saying that the car was not in its original condition. I asked how i altered the original condition of the car and was told that putting the batteries in the car and remote altered the original condition. I was told to look up the manufacturer of the car and figure out how to deal with them. There is now sign or other warning at this store that if you purchase a defective item you will be responsible for figuring out how to get the defective item replaced. The car was put back in its original packaging before I tried to return it. This is an unfair and deceptive...

If I could give negative stars I would. Tried to return an 3-in-one charger (with my receipt) that was purchased last week and does not work AT ALL only to be told that I can't return used electronics. I said "but it's a faulty item and does not work" and the manager told me they don't take electronics that have been used and I needed to call the manufacturer. NO WHERE on the receipt OR in the store does it say this. She refused to refund me. I said to her "so if I had lied and just said that I didn't want it anymore you would have refunded me?" and she said "yes". But instead since I was honest and told her it was faulty so no one else has this issue, she won't refund me. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND I WILL NOT BE SHOPPING AT SIERRA AGAIN. DO NOT SHOP AT THIS LOCATION - THEY LIKE TO MAKE UP...

Horrible goose chase of a grand opening. Can only assume anything else Sierra does will not be planned out what-so-ever and a disappointment. 4th in line to the Grand Opening to receive coordinates. Immediately drove over 13 miles to a state park to find dozens of people, that were not present at the grand opening, already at the trail head. After a 1.5 mile hike in to find coordinates I was met with laughter and told the promotion was over. After waiting in line since 6 am, driving over 26 miles, and hiking over 3 miles, I returned home with not even a coupon to subsidize what was going to be a large purchase at Sierra. I am sure the hundreds of other people who were given these coordinates to nothing have a pretty bad taste in their mouth about Sierra Trading Post...
