really terrible experience today I stop by in the morning I order a tostada what I get is cold and clumpy beans lettuce that doesn’t look fresh and some guacamole that started to brown. I go back through the drive-through to order something else and to notify them that I was not happy and even told them through the intercom that I wasn’t trying to get a replacement or free food. When I get to the window the manager meets me there and asked me what my problem is so I start explaining everything starting with the beans then the lettuce then the guacamole and she waits until I mention the guacamole and starts to justify that the guacamole starts browning almost instantly which is true I guess then she says that they can’t do anything about the lettuce because they just open a bag but completely avoids saying anything about the old beans then she tells me it’s not her fault and she’s the one that made my tostada and pointed out that I had taken three or four bites of the tostada before bringing it back. just a really gross experience with a manager that knows absolutely nothing about customer service. I grew up eating Del Taco in SoCal since I was 6yrs old! Excited to have it here in Colorado. Today went to the Castle Rock location with my son. We each ordered a shake, which are usually thick and yummy! The girl handed them to us and they were pure liquid! I asked why they were like this and she said she didn't know. I tasted mine and told her I didn't want it. The very rude manager lady came over to give me a refund and snapped at me! She said it wasn't supposed to be ice cream! I snapped back and said it wasn't supposed to be chocolate milk! I've never been treated so horribly by a manager! She never apologized, just made me feel guilty about getting a refund. If I could give this store a negative star review I would. I have sat in the lobby and watched as the entire management team came out to the lobby and ate while one employee ran around trying to get stuff done during the dinner rush. Nothing in the lobby has been cleaned and the cleaning supplies are left on tables. The management sits on their phones while the kitchen is visibly backed up. From the lobby you can hear the employees talking about the customers making fun of them. They brushed off the tray with a dirty cloth and handed me my food on a dirty tray. There is trash built up by the back door as you walk in. The management didnt even have time to talk to me when they got my order wrong twice.
