Went in to buy a phone which was fine. They gave us a new sim card for it as the one we had already was in our iPad. Charge for that may have not been necessary as it was the same line and number. Notices a few days later our bill was 8 bucks/mo more. Called the store to ask why and said she couldn't help me and to call customer service.(Not great service). The wait time for customer service is crazy but I successfully attempted to log in online to my account and saw they had added a protection plan to that new simcard and phone which we did not ask for without telling us. It was easy to remove on the website (you can't do it from the app) but it was something I had to figure out on my own.
It may be a mistake on their end or not but they could definitely have helped me over the phone for this and let me know they were adding this protection plan at the time. It seems a little scammy as I am sure there are commissions for...
