9/7/2022 @ 1:00p: Very disappointing today. First off, and on a positive note, the service is always great and professional. However, everything that came with our meal today was terribly sub par, but we didnāt pay with sub par money. Lol. This seems to be becoming a trend with a lot of places lately. Iām sure you all have noticed also. Overpricing for sub par product.
The macaroni was old and severely over stirred. Basically just bland macaroni mush with no utensils to eat with. The chicken was also old/inedible and so small that even though I paid for 6 tenders, in reality I only received 4. But more importantly, inedible. The French fries and okra were both old and barely edible. I also requested easy ice so that I would have enough to drink and my cup was nothing but ice and less than 20oz in a large 40oz cup. None of us were able to complete our meal that we paid hard earned dollars for and with or without recent inflation, this is absolutely unacceptable.
Do not waste your money on this place like we did. You will be disappointed. Again with the recent inflation and no raise in wages, I expect a little better from places. Not worse. Itās not rocket science. Itās chicken for crying out loud.
Iām positive that there will be some sort of patronizing rebuttal to my review herein since no one can accept responsibility for their actions or lack thereof anymore, so letās see what they have to say to this. An no, requesting I waste my money there again, and I quote, āto give them another chanceā, or, āfill out another comment formā, is also unacceptable. The only way to make that right is to simply refund our money. Which will never happen these days.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe food's great, but we ordered the 16 piece family meal with gravy and mashed potatoes (which was all in the bag), and a large side of fries (which was not in the bag). Which is fine it happens. When I got home we noticed that the fries were not in the bag and my wife called them. The employee on the phone was more than helpful and was even about to comp the fries from what it seems. Then my wife said she could hear the manager in the background yelling to give her the phone because she remembered putting the fries in the bag. I'm pretty sure we would know... We even went back to my car to check that they didn't fall out and nope, nothing there. She pretty much argued with my wife that we were lying (over family fries which are $5.00) because she remembers she put them in there, and apparently they somehow disappeared between then and my car. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL manager and even after we told her its 20 minutes away and we don't want to come back she said the only thing we could do about it is drive out there and get the fries. The food we did get was great, and the place does seem cleaner than the one in San Antonio at 1604 and Potranco which is why I drove 20 minutes to Castroville instead. But after the interaction with this manager, we will not be going back to this location ever. Happened on 6/14/2023...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI frequent this establishment, as do my employees. Food is always pretty good and the staff is always very nice. But you HAVE TO FIX your online ordering system!! Sixth time now I have used this and every single time (not exaggerating) it is the most unorganized, aggravating experience ever! First, if you go through the drive thru and tell them you have an online order, they tell you they can not help you and you have to park and come inside? How hard is it to hand me the order thru the window? Come on?? I'm ordering online to expedite my time! Second, when you get inside (every single time again), the order is not ready AT ALL. Then they all stand there and stare at each other and don't know what to do. You wait at least another five to ten minutes for them to scramble around and get your order ready, and half the visits it is always wrong like today. Twice they look up at the screen and have told me, oops I accidentally deleted your order and I have to tell them what I ordered. Please fix this system where it is more customer friendly and easier. I place my order online because I am busy and just want to drive thru and pick up my order, not park and go inside. But I guess you need to fix the preparing the order situation first before that...
