Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Castroville

7/29/22 - Very Disappointing for all 4 Pizzas! We ordered a Supreme, 2 Pepperoni, and One 3 meat Large Pizzas (thin & crispy and hand tossed) to feed our family of 7. There was something "Off" about the Pizza Dough. It had an unpleasant sweet taste, it was heavy, doughy and it ruined the overall meal we were looking forward to enjoying. When our 2 grandkids who Love Pepperoni Pizza, took only one bite each and both said, "I don't like it. It tastes funny." They then asked for cereal instead. We go out of our way to support our Castroville PizzaHut as it is the only one in town. We ended up throwing away 2 large pizzas worth of combined slices and had to come up with something else for supper. We may need to go as far as Potranco Rd/1604 (about 16 miles vs 1 mile)to get our PizzaHut Fix. They had to know something was wrong with the dough (it even had an off smell) and yet they still served it to Anyone who ordered pizzas for Friday Evening. Poor Quality Control. I've known the Family who owns Many of the PizzaHuts in San Antonio for decades! I know their restaurants strive for high quality food preparation and service. I will be cautious if and when i order from the Castroville PizzaHut in the future as you should do the...

Always dirty and lazy, incompetent workers. I placed an order for a Hut box. The order was incorrect so I went back inside to inform them. They were going to “correct” the order and it was going to take 10 mins. When I returned to get my RIGHT order, the manger and cook were discussing the cost and the order not knowing I was right there. Lisa-the “manager” started to state that the Pizza Hut website was incorrect. I showed the counter clerk that the order entailed a FULL pizza melt, wings and a drink for $10.99. The overweight “manager” Lisa stated that the pizza website was incorrect and that they were actually losing money. This was the worst and stupidest response. I was given the district managers number but you best believe i will make it known that they have incompetence just waking around that place. We ordered from here alot! Today we ordered and the system told us it was out for delivery at 4:50 at 5:15 it had not arrived so my husband called. He had to explain to three different people our concern of where our order was and that the last couple of orders had been cold. The third person he talked to wouldn't let him finish talking, he then stated our order left ten minutes ago making it leaving Pizza hut at 5:05. When we got our food at 5:20 we checked the food and it was cold delima eat it cold or send it back and go get something somewhere else. Interesting thing driver told us order was waiting on her to be delivered when she got to work at 5:00. SHAME on you sir for saying it just went out ten minutes ago it sat in your Pizza Hut for 15 minutes getting cold.
