Just a mom trying to get an oil change with a toddler. My husband really thought highly of this place so much that he felt comfortable sending me to get my oil change. I've had my car jacked up in the past by a mechanic shop. Unfortunately, the customer service here was awful. I was told 30minutes (3 vehicles ahead). Everything was moving along. Until the truck in front of me had some sort of issue. I was there for a total of 1hr 24minutes. They not once came to my car to just give me a heads up, I was trapped in front of multiple cars. Every time I tried to flag someone down they avoided eye contact (makes me chuckle, bc we both know what's happening. ) I'm not a Karen. I just wanted to know a time frame. Knowing my 3yo is gonna need to use the restroom or have a meltdown. I like to be prepared for those things. Anyways finally after having to push the truck out of the bay, they took care of my car. But they said nothing, gave me my paper, no Apology for the wait, but instead told me my oil change only took 8 minutes! 🤦♀️ his name was Keola. Lol my guy, come on now. The young boy, didn't catch his name, quickly said thanks for your patience. But I'm sure it was bc I was like "for real? " If feels like they took their frustrations out on me, and sent me on my way. Everyone has a bad day, I suppose they could've just handled things much better. Read moreFirst time I came here a few months ago they didn’t have the filter for my 2021 Kia K5 in stock because the car was still so new. Kind of understandable because it was only out for over a year. They told me to run to autozone and buy one then bring it back. Fine.
Fast forward to today which was 6 months after the first time. I call this morning to verify they have the filter in stock and they said they do so. I get here and they tell me they in fact do not have one. Again, you can go to autozone and buy one…. I go to buy a filter, bring it back, sit in line again and they replace the oil. Start driving home and something starts rattling under my vehicle so I turn around and come back to wait in line yet again for them to check under the vehicle. The manager, Diego, jacks up the vehicle while I’m in line and looks under it but doesn’t see anything. While I’m standing outside of the vehicle, one of their bays is backed up because a filter was being delivered for another customer. Hold on, I thought we had to go get our own filters here….anyways.
Diego doesn’t see anything and after I tell him I need to be somewhere in 30 minutes which was 2 hours after I arrived the first time. No rush to help me. So they finally pull me into the bay and re-secure the skid plate. Customer Service Rep came by after oil change was performed and said pointing to the bill, " I put down that we performed the tire rotation, but we can't cause we don't have a torque wrench , but if we don't put down what the fleet maintenance recommends, they get angry.." then he walked away. So I asked, you're charging me for it, but not performing it? And he nonchalantly says "YES, but you can bring it back when you get your next oil change and we'll do it, just bring the receipt." Again, I told him it's not my job to be keeping track of receipts and when to come back . I also informed him now I can't go somewhere else to get a tire rotation cuz he falsely charged it. He then says, "so you don't want to wait for upur next oil change?" I asked when are you getting your torque wrench? His reply.."I don't know, it's been on backorder for a long time..." I told him I don't agree with what he's doing and that it wasn't right more than 3 times to which he just shrugged his shoulders. I left and immediately contacted my maintenance company to stop payment. And it's a shame, because I liked this location's convenience and service. Too bad one rotten apple ruins the bunch!
