Let me start off by saying the customer service was excellent... However in regards to the quality of installation I received I would have to give unfortunately a one-star rating for The following:
I bought my system February of 2020 this year as soon as I pulled off after they installed it my radio may have played two songs at high bass before it overheated...I called them immediately and the gentleman I believe the owner told me to bring it back the next day and he will look at it... Fast forward to the following visit the owner came out turn some knobs on the box with the screwdriver and said I should be good... Riding down the road once again two songs in the heavy Bass the system overheats again... I call him back and tell him it is overheated again and he says I quote you're just not going to be able to play it that loud... I left it alone unsatisfied I have since then bought another vehicle taking the system out of the key I had it installed in and put it in an Impala... I had another person reinstall it and when they went to look at the power cables that this location ran he asked if the system worked well with that with those cables... Because they were very thin and his opinion and didn't think they would get the job done... I then told him that the system has overheated or gone out since the day I bought it and he told me the problem was the cables that they ran when they installed it they should have used a higher I think he said ampage or wattage cable... Since he reinstalled it with a 4 gauge installation kit I have not had a single problem out of the system... I honestly feel cheated out of my money BECAUSE they tried to go to cheat way using lower wattage cable the gentleman who reinstalled my cables said that might have been a eight and he installed 1500 watt cables (4) that are probably double in size related to the ones that he took off...as far as the power wire is running from the battery to the 12's I had installed and the amplifier...I will not go to these people if I did not know what I was doing or what to look for as far as quality of work because in my experience they went cheap instead of right and I paid over $600 for the system that I have... Hope this helps someone else not get in the...
Read moreOverpriced as heck, like really. Went in and asked for a quote to hardwire my dash-cam I recently purchased and already installed myself, the only issue was that I didn’t want the cam to be powered by the cig port because it drains the battery. I tried installing the hardwire myself and just didn’t feel confident in messing with the electronic parts of my car. Anyways, went in and the guy at the front desk checked out my setup and said it would run me about $265. To install a wire into the interior fuse box and tuck it into the car trim neatly. Absolutely insane. So I effed right on off to Best Buy because they have a car department they never advertise about and asked the tech if he could do it and he was happy to help me and set up my appointment ALL FOR $40 and would only take an hour. It was originally $80 but due to me already having the cameras set up he halved the price.
Guys, the theme of my review is to make sure y’all shop around when looking for services like these. You’ll have a better average scope at what the local prices are around. Or simply look up whether or not that labor is rightfully worth hundreds of dollars to install a wire. I mean come on, y’all mess with wires all day, it’s your career. I’m providing the hardwire kit and you’ve already done multiple times, what justifies me being charged $265 for LITERAL LABOR that would probably take an hour?
The people in there were nice tho besides my scam quote.
Also I’m not a disgruntled/upset customer tho I might sound like it right now, I just think something like this was ridiculous. Honestly people should know how this feels like an ethically dirty...
Read moreI had 2 alarms installed here in two cars because I travel across country with things staying in the trunk of my car. I spent about 2,000 dollars on them. On the second one in the second car, which sits mostly if I am not traveling, one day at home while preparing for a trip I opened the trunk and the alarm didn't sound. I went back and was told I needed a new trunk switch. The switch was installed and I was told it was 30 dollars. I didn't have my wallet so I told them I would come back and pay when I got home from my trip. While on the trip, I opened the trunk and the alarm didn't sound. Now I have to continue my trip and worry about the things in the trunk the whole way. I went back was asked about the 30 dollars and was told it would cost me even more to fix. I fixed it myself and I will never return. 2,000 dollars for alarms and that's what I got. Update in response to reply. Of course I couldn't come back the next day because I was leaving the state for 2 months, which I informed the owner of. When I did return, after driving across the country with my things in the trunk at risk, because of the second faulty trunk switch, there was zero indication of a free repair. If he was going to fix it for free, why charge me 30 dollars for a lousy trunk switch in the first place after charging me 1,000 dollars for the alarm. It's very easy for him to now say he was going to fix it for free. I did give a five star review, and I would not have changed it if I felt I was dealt...
