I went to a wedding where Shiza had done the brides makeup and I was blown away and knew I had to have her do mine when the time came. She was the first vendor I booked as soon as our date was confirmed.

Over the next 12 months, Shiza was available to help me guide my prep by answering any questions I had, and also helped me better navigate my hair and skin appointments. She was responsive, detail-oriented, and diligent about making sure our timeline leading up to my wedding day was manageable and setting us up for success. My requirements for Shiza were a royal, elegant Marwari maharani look for the morning ceremony, and a shimmery evening look for the evening.

We did a hair trial about 6 weeks before as that was my only concern, and she made me feel comfortable with the process, provided options, and generally put me at ease.

The day of— Shiza was a calming presence, was able to keep us on the timeline, and absolutely delivered on my looks. I wanted to look like myself, but better, and she delivered exactly that. She took my preferences into account— keeping true to my skin tone, cool toned red lips for both looks, and feeling like myself.

My morning look was impeccable. Shiza absolutely transformed me into a Marwari queen. She was spot on with everything from the skin prep, makeup application, draping, hair, and even being thoughtful about suggesting slight alternations or enhancements I may not have noticed or cared about. She was fully invested in making me look and feel my best for my day. She then transitioned my morning look into an evening look that was smoldering and chic, and radiant despite my exhaustion by that point.

Trusting Shiza with your special event is the easiest decision you can, and should, make. She will lean in to make sure you’re comfortable, understand your needs and wants, and ultimately champion your vision. Shiza did an absolutely amazing job during all my wedding events. I had a typical Pakistani wedding with a mendhi, nikkah, shaadi. We did a bridal consultation and she went over with me skin treatments to get the best makeup and was really invested in my skin health and overall makeup look for the wedding. She did my bridal trial makeup as well and we picked out colors based on my outfit and jewelry. I was able to provide her with the look that would be best and she did such a good job capturing it. On my mendhi day, she did my makeup and hair and did an absolutely great job ensuring the right colors and making the design look great. Even my photographers had said the makeup was flawless in photos. She does a great job in detailing and ensuring her work is pictured just right. I really appreciated her on my wedding day as not only did she do my bridal makeup but helped along to ensure my mother makeup was done right with the help of another makeup artist. She stayed with me through my nikkah ceremony and helped me with my dupatta setting and taking photos. Helped me to redo any parts of my makeup that needed to be touched up. She was honestly a great friend and support through the process since it is such a hectic day for a bride. It’s not just the makeup service she offers, but also the emotional support needed to get through everything and ensuring that things are perfect as possible. I highly recommend her for any events to anyone. Every person at my wedding, and as said the photographers, all complimented her work. I felt safe and secure in the work she does and trusted it.
