I recently had the pleasure of re-visiting this establishment and overall, it was a delightful experience. The service provided was outstanding, with a friendly and accommodating staff that made me feel welcome. The atmosphere was charming and contributed to the overall enjoyment of my visit. Additionally, the selection of beers available was impressive, allowing me to indulge in a satisfying beverage.

Past experience: Personal Tastes and Considerations

While the Devil's Eggs were not as exceptional as advertised, I recognize that taste preferences can vary significantly. It is important to note that my opinion on this particular dish may not align with others'. Furthermore, the chicken wings were larger than my personal preference, and unfortunately, they were not as crispy or well done as I had hoped. However, I want to emphasize that these aspects did not overshadow the positive aspects of my experience.

Update: A Diverse Menu

One of the notable strengths of this establishment is the extensive menu. There is a wide variety of options to choose from, catering to different tastes and preferences. Although I personally lean towards a more classic bar menu, I appreciate the effort to provide diverse choices. It is worth noting that while in the past some dishes were more towards sophisticated restaurant-style cuisine, there are now plenty of options that offer the beloved and nostalgic flavors of traditional American bar food.

I recently attended a party hosted by my close family friends, the Gonzalez family, and I was honestly appalled by my experience. As a guest, I couldn’t relax or enjoy myself at all because the owner of the venue was constantly hovering over the event. I’ve attended plenty of banquets in the past, but I’ve never encountered an owner who stayed the entire time, monitoring everything and everyone. She was not only present the whole night but also made it a point to show other people around the venue while we were still setting up. It was beyond unprofessional.

What made it even worse was that she didn’t even try to step away or blend into the background. Instead, she behaved as if the event wasn’t private at all, despite the fact that the Gonzalez family had rented out the space and paid for it. There was no attempt to respect the privacy of the hosts or their guests; it was as if she owned the place and could do whatever she wanted.

The worst part, though, was how she treated the Gonzalez family. She was rude, dismissive, and completely disrespectful towards them, which was absolutely disgraceful. Things escalated to the point where she was ready to physically confront the family over her own mistakes. It was completely unnecessary and made the whole situation even worse.

I will never return to or recommend this venue. The owner’s behavior was unprofessional, disrespectful, and entirely inappropriate. It completely ruined the evening for me and, I’m sure, for the hosts as well. If you’re considering booking a banquet or event here, do yourself a favor and...

Did not like most of the food. But that had nothing to do with the cooks it was the menu that was picked out. The things that I did like were very good. Service was slow but they were all new servers from what I heard. They did not know how to bring out the food family style. They started with one Dish, brought out vegetables which were not cooked all the way through, Then brought out potatoes, then fish..., everything was one dish at a time you had to eat the 1 before the next 1 came. We had to ask after 3 dishes to please take the dirty ones away. They were piling up on the table. All the servers were very polite and were working very hard but we're not trained properly. It seemed like there was no one in command to tell them what to do and how to do it. When we told our server before you bring the next plate take 1 away, she goes, oh OK thank you, and that's what she started to do. Then the other servers started to follow her lead.
