The individual at the gun counter was the only person that I really interacted with. I'm sure that the staff is generally fairly nice and competent, but I was accused of being confrontational when I simply pointed out that Canik pistols were made in Turkey and not in the US after the gentleman suggested otherwise. I was correct about this, but the error on the gentleman's end was not disconcerting. Refusing to admit the error or verify the fact, accusing me (not to mention Canik's website, every Canik review ever, and the frame of the firearm itself) of being full of it, accusing me of being confrontational for presenting factual information, accusing me of being confrontational for asking what about any of what I said was confrontational, calling me too stupid to understand what was confrontational about presenting information, threatening to walk me out of the store for calmly presenting a fact, and other such childish responses to reality not matching up to one's incorrect beliefs? All of that was certainly concerning.

Additional training or replacement recommended, though it is hard to see how an unwillingness to learn is remedied in a department that has more depth and breadth than any one person can be expected to...

0 ⭐️’s. Bought steel toed boots at Dunham’s 7 days ago. They were on sale for $130.00. The seams started to unravel on day 5 of wearing them. We took them back to exchange. We knew we couldn’t get a refund because I couldn’t find the receipt. We were happy to see the same cashier who (other than being too detailed and forthright with his families business) was pleasant and chatty last Saturday. He even made a comment that it was nice that we wanted to listen, “Most people ask how I am, but don’t want to hear the answer. This was nice.” Today, he was not so pleasant, or helpful. In fact, he felt the need to chastise us repeatedly for not having a receipt. I’m sure it is an inconvenience, and I absolutely should have saved the receipt, but the scolding was a bit extensive. When he finally rang up the “exchange”, he only credited us $89.00. He said that at some point it must have been that price. Ok so there is a lot of people relying on places like these to make a living. They employ several Americans. This store is the exact reason why retail stores are going out of business. We went in there to look at the wee go bicycle attachment that was $140 after finding one on amazon for $74. We thought that maybe it was a different one than the one offered on amazon. It was identical. We asked if they would price match considering the extreme difference in price and we were told by the manager that they do not price match and he offered us 10% off. So my point is how can you blame anyone for shopping online when you can literally spend half the money. Furthermore how do you advertise “Big Brands Low Prices” when you can walk though that store and find almost everything they have online for a cheaper price. And a lot of them significantly cheaper....
