Much like many of the other reviews, the crust was the best part of the pizza, unfortunately, that was the highlight.
This location had a soft opening a few weeks ago, so by now I expected things to be running smoothly. Instead, there was a noticeable lack of choices. Several drink specials were listed but unavailable, and I overheard other guests being told the items they wanted were out of stock.
The ordering process was confusing. You order at the counter and give your table number, but the numbers aren’t clearly marked. By the time I figured it out, someone else had taken my table.
The atmosphere was extremely loud. I met a friend, but we couldn’t hear each other and left after only a few bites.
The bar setup was also frustrating. They have a large display of bourbon and whiskey, but you can’t actually order it. The wine, which is surprising for an owner who is affiliated with a winery, was on tap. When I ordered a chardonnay, I was told to wait a few minutes because it wasn’t hooked up yet. The table behind me ordered the same thing and got it right away. Ten minutes later, when I asked again, they admitted they’d forgotten about me. The chardonnay I finally received was so oxygenated it tasted almost sparkling.
In the end, we took the leftover pizza home. The general consensus from everyone was that Domino’s is not only better, but...
Read moreWe ordered the Cobb Salad, Peach & Blue, Ferment & Fire BBQ wings, BBQ Pork Pizza, White Pie Pizza, Spicy Honey Pepperoni Pizza, Lavender Lemonade, and other drinks. Wow! I've never seen or talk to so many satisfied people in a restaurant. People today can be pretty difficult with all the world is going through over the last 5 or so years. This was truly a great experience and breath of fresh air. So many happy people in one place. People were compelled to share their experience with the table next to them or behind them. The food was next level. The dough on the Pizza's was amazing (sourdough crust fermented for 6 days), not to mention the different toppings. The Peach & Blue was, in itself, amazing, especially for an App. Not sure anyone could have been ready for such an incredible turnout. Good job Central Point for winning the location spot of this restaurant. Not sure how anyone is going to top this place. Prices were quite fair, especially for the quality. Can't beat it anywhere I know of. Thank you for reviving our faith in Pizza and beer around here and giving us a spot to attend regularly. What a great grand opening, for...
Read moreI posted this on yelp but wanted to post here as well. I was really excited to try this but left somewhat disappointed. First you're supposed to pick a table but there is no sign saying this (that I saw), just signs for where to order. So when you order they ask the number of your table, and we gave a number and then someone sat at that table, so we had to find another. My friend and I both got the pink lemonade hard seltzer and while I expect seltzer to not have a ton of flavor, it really had none, just a slight sweetness it seemed like. The pizza came and looked great. However the toppings weren't as much as I would have expected to be on it. We got the potato pizza, which is supposed to have chili oil, but there was zero chili flavor nor hint of spice or kick. It also had garlic sauce and I only tasted a bit of garlic. There wasn't a much cheese on it either. The flavor was just lacking to me. The crust was delicious though. It came with ranch without asking, and the lady who brought it out was very nice. I will likely give it another try since it is new, however I was very underwhelmed by this visit, as...
