The last few times I ordered, something on my order was wrong. Wrong crust, burnt crust. I never called, I just disappointingly ate what I didn't like. Tonight, again, my order was wrong. The driver offered to show me my pizzas when he arrived (on time, mind you), but I politely declined. He had two medium pizzas in his hands with two tubs on wings stacked on top, while trying to juggle the receipts and a pen. I signed the receipt and gave him a tip. As soon as I got the food to my counter and I opened up the pizza box I saw that one of them had the wrong crust. I am sorry, I just do not like deep dish pizza AT ALL. And after a long day of yard work, all I wanted was what I ordered. I called and said it was wrong, and they asked for my ticket number. He said that it was sitting there, and the driver had already left. I went over what the pizza was that was wrong (and was a little irritated that the person kept cutting me off, and reread what I had ordered incorrectly back to me). He said they would remake it and send it right out. I thank him and hung up the phone. And wait....and wait...20 minutes...nothing...30 minutes...nothing. About an hour later I called back and asked nicely when I should expect the replacement. Only to be told to hold on a minute because the "manager had answers". The manager tells me the driver brought the remade pizza out to my house, but that a man answered the door and said that we didn't want the pizza. I told him there was no way that could be true, I was watching my husband change the water in our fish tank the whole time I had been waiting. The manager said that he couldn't just remake another pizza and send it out again. That his driver wouldn't lie to him. He finally relented after seeing that I had NEVER called and complained before and said he would send it out but I told him not to. That I was more upset about the whole situation than anything and just wouldn't be doing business with them in the future. I am just completely floored that someone would LIE about the situation rather than own up to a mistake. That a manager would believe a driver over a customer and say that out loud, implying that the customer is the one lying. Long story short, if you don't mind paying more money for your pizza (because they aren't able to honor a lot of the promotions, they don't make enough to give you a $5 deal, it's a $7 deal) and you don't mind if your pizza isn't exactly what you ordered, then go ahead and...
Read moreI've been coming here on and off for years, and usually it's a good experience, but I went in there tonight around 9pm with my son, and this was not the case. There were two people in the store, the driver(or cook, im not sure), who was working, and the manager who was just sitting in the back, not wanting to work the register. The other employee had to tell the manager to stop being lazy and go help the customer. I appreciate the other employee speaking up and calling out the manager on his poor customer service. I finally talked to the manager, who seemed grumpy, and explained to him that my online order wasn't going through. I know its an online only deal, but I showed him on my phone that my order wasn't being processed, and he offered nothing. He just said "sorry its online only deal". I'm sure there's a way to discount the price to honor the deal in situations like this. It's the least he could've done after being rude. I ended up just leaving and not buying anything. Fifty minutes had passed so I decided to call the pizza hut since I had placed my order online to make sure everything s okay. I listened to the options choice numbe three the phone rang and rang no answer. Then the tracker had finally sent that my pizza was out for delivery. Another forty five minutes had passed still no pizza . I called three more times no answer. I then tried to call the south Medford pizza hut they answered and was no help. They told me that the area manager is on vacation and they couldn't help me. I don't like having to leave bad reviews,but when a single dad works hard all day and spends fifty to six rollers to feed his kids. Then to eat cold food on top of it all.
