Cranky Crab — Local services in Centreville

This place is not worthy of one star. This has to be the worst crab spot in MD. Upon placing my order I spoke with Cricket. I explained I was traveling from a distance and specifically requested generous seasoning, freshly steamed crabs. With that understanding I proceeded to place a $135.00 order for 1/2 bushel of medium crabs. I was assured the crabs are cooked fresh never re-warmed. I arrived home to find crabs that had practically no seasoning at all with no taste. I immediately called them about my order and was told by the owner “to return the crabs” after following his instructions they were unwilling to except their mistake back or the $135.00. The 1/2 bushel of crabs is still full. They were so bland I could only eat six without becoming so disgusted. How do you admit to not seasoning the crabs as ordered; request they be returned to make it right; then just do nothing. Customer service is all well and fine while they are collecting your money. Mom and Dad were heading down to shop at the outlets from Earleville. I was chatting with them from overseas and they mentioned that they wanted some crabs. In 30 seconds I found them this place, 500 meters south of the outlets. The crabs were cooked to order. Plentiful and delicious. And they got some cornhole in while the crabs were cooked. You can never go wrong with what they have to offer. Crabs are always exactly what was ordered, cooked to perfection, with right amount of seasoning. They are very honest about the quality of crabs, so there's never a doubt about what you're getting. If they aren't satisfied with the quality they have always made up for one way or another.
