A Little Lovely Coffee House — Restaurant in Centreville

I stopped by to grab a coffee and was surprised to find three children loudly running around, one of which was standing on a table and walking/climbing on the ledge. After ordering, I needed to use the restroom, but had to weave through the children blocking the hallway and the multitude of toys scattered all over the floor. At one point, they were chasing each other through the coffee shop and one face-planted, resulting in screaming and crying. No parent/guardian was paying attention until the child got hurt and only then did someone (I can only assume a parent/guardian) come out from behind the counter. I felt like I was in a playground, not a coffee shop and was grossed out by witnessing feet on the table. Additionally, the small Lego-like toys scattered all across the floor was an extreme tripping hazard. The name truly says it all! This local family owned business is filled with delicious drinks, pastries, açaí bowls, O/N oats, bagels, etc., and lite fare items from Eat Sprout, and Fields of Heather bakery. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, but also has an invigorating ambiance. The charm of indoor live plants is vibrant and calming. The owners and staff are so welcoming and friendly. The service is courteous and professional; always willing to accommodate your requests. Lovely locals serving patrons with loving care. Saw this place on instagram and was excited to try it. Being from Baltimore, it’s a good drive across the bridge to get there. The opportunity presented itself and I was excited to try this.

Ordered a medium cold brew ($5.50). Added 2 flavors, which were 0.75 cents each! The coffee ended up being $7.42, which is pretty pricey for a basic coffee. Not sure how these prices will hold up for long term. Not sure I would come back to try a “special” because those may be a lot more expensive.

The coffee shop is large and nicely decorated. There are plants EVERYWHERE - which I loved. Plenty of seating.
