Verizon — Local services in Centreville

If I could post zero stars, then I would. This store is highly unprofessional. Jared Davis tried to scam $200 in Visa gift cards out of someone on my plan, an ELDERLY woman at that, when she went in to file a claim on her phone. He told her they didn't take cash, he wasn't going to help her, and then told her the deductible for the claim was anywhere from $89.99- $149.99, without ever pulling up the account. He also told her to transfer all her data from her old phone to a replacement from the claim would cost her another $50 Visa gift card. (This isn't true. This service is done for free for claims.) He then told her he initiated a claim for her (no, he did not) but that she would need to bring him the gift card to finish it. He also told her because she was not me, she could not make a payment, file a claim or do anything on the account (she is listed as authorized via the account to make changes etc. without needing my approval). I reached out to the GM, Isaiah White, who has yet to reach out to me. I am now contacting corporate for Cellular Sales as well as Verizon. Makes me wonder how many other people have been scammed out of money by this guy. Stay away at all costs and deal with only a REAL Corporate...

DONT GO TO THE VERIZON STORE IN QUEENSTOWN (on Rte 50 across from the outlets) On Monday., May 17, I bought 2 new iPhone 12s from this location. After paying for phone “set-up”, I got home and was unable to get into the iCloud account created by the salesman. I called the store and asked for assistance in completing the set up (that was obviously incomplete). The salesman I spoke to said I would have to call Apple or go to the Apple store. He offered no assistance or advice. He told me “our set up is only for phone service”. If the people selling phones can’t help you through relatively simple issues, one has to ask what is the benefit. Because I got no help from the sales men, I went to the internet. I am not a very tech savvy person. I was able to solve the problem in less than an hour. I would not have people on my staff that could not explain the products (and/or services) my office provides. The lesson learned is: Cellular Sales of MD would like you to BUY their products, PAY for the system set-up and never call them again. Repeat business and customer satisfaction mean nothing to these sale people. Really poor management and...

$60 setup fee SCAM. Instead of simply transferring my contacts as I requested, they performed a full backup of my old phone without asking me if that was what I wanted. When I mentioned that I only wanted my contacts, I was told that wasn’t possible — not because it wasn’t, but because they had already started the unnecessary backup. I was then informed it would take an additional 20 minutes to complete the process. I only wanted to buy the phone, and set it up myself. She started doing everything without checking my preferences first, and I even had to stop her when she mentioned the extra 20 minutes. I wanted to avoid transferring all the unnecessary photos and apps, which is exactly why I was upgrading in the first place.

I was able to do it on my own in 5 minutes…. 60$ later thanks I get to spend 60$ of my money because clicking 3 buttons to set up an iPhone is worth...
