First I made an appointment for a monday at noon, which unfortunately was a day of heavy snows. I received an email no later than 6 PM the evening before informing me "that due to inclement weather the store might be closed." Suggesting that I "call the store to confirm before leaving and offering me the option of rescheduling my appointment." Which is highly appreciated and helpful given the snows closed most of Northern Virginia for 24 hours.
During my appointment on Tuesday First I wanted to have my usb c port replaced because I was getting impartial connections and spotty charging at best. The tech informed me that unfortunately the port was part of the motherboard and was beyond their ability to repair. However he spent the better part of 10 or 15 minutes carefully cleaning the port for me. Which of course resulted in a port that works like new.
Second I wanted to have my battery replaced as the battery life had shortened considerably over the last few months. The techs informed that this was a repair they could do, and before accepting my phone made sure to check their stock of batteries. Unfortunately they were out of the battery I needed. So they informed me that they could get the battery shipped in, it would normally take 3-5 days depending on shipping. Possibly faster if a shipment of the specific battery I needed was already on the truck. If the battery arrived before or the battery came into stock they would call me to schedule an appointment for battery replacement.
Not 4 hours later they called to inform me that the battery would be in stock late Wednesday evening, and ask if I would like an appointment Thursday or Friday of the same week.
Appointment for Thursday arrives, they have my appointment on hand, promptly diagnoses the battery status, inform me that it doesn't technically need to be replaced, but it was nearing the point of quickly declining charge/capacity. Leaving the phone with them was painless quick and easy, 2 hours later and I have a phone with a brand new battery, that I can't even tell was opened to repair it.
Definitely recommending the store from now on.
Long story short, low hassle, good cost, and excellent and...
Read moreI regret using this service this time. While my phone was repaired well, I feel upset because they changed their story.
In the morning, when I took my phone for repair, they told me I needed to pay $123. They explained that the screen repair cost was $200, and the part cost was $110, but since Samsung would cover $200, I only needed to pay $123. I left my phone with them, trusting this information.
However, when I didn’t receive any call by the evening, I reached out to them. They told me to come and pick up the phone but said I needed to pay $397. The price was so different from what I was told in the morning that I complained. Then, they reduced it to $197.
When I looked at the receipt, I noticed an additional $75 charge for "Samsung flat rate labor." According to them, this fee would not have been added if I had sent the phone directly to Samsung, but since the repair was done there, the extra cost applied.
What caught me off guard was that they should have given me the receipt showing the full cost from the beginning. Instead, they only told me about the extra $75 after the repair was done, which was shocking. When I contacted Samsung, they said they were unaware of the situation.
Even though my phone was fixed properly, I can't shake the feeling that I might have been overcharged. It leaves a bad taste, as if they took advantage of me as a consumer.
If you need to repair a Samsung product and have enough time, do not come here. Instead, send it directly to Samsung. You can save a lot of money.

I actually visited your place on 2/17/25. Why would I leave such a long review when I didn’t even receive any service there? This is truly absurd. I...
Read morePlease see my original review below where they were able to "fix" my phone without charging me as it was repaired during the diagnostics phase. Based on that experience, I brought my daughters iPad in after the charging port quit working. We had taken it to the Apple Store and were quoted around $250 plus to get it fixed. At that price point we were better off just replacing. I decided to bring it by uBreakiFix to see what they could do and after some quick checks they said they could fix it for around $150 and if they couldn't then it would be $40 for the diagnostic work. I decided to gamble on it and was called a few days later to let me know I had a working iPad. I wouldn't have bothered except my daughter had quite a few photos and videos she would lose. I'm very glad they were able to fix it and it was much less expensive than the Apple store.
After the screen on my Samsung phone went blank and was well out of warranty, I was directed to uBreakiFix as an authorized repair shop. I was initially quoted $300 to replace the screen on the year and a half old phone which, while expensive, was still much better than purchasing a new one. I left the phone with them and received a call about an hour or so later saying that the phone was ready for pick up and that there would be no charge. While doing diagnostics on the phone, they reseated the connection to the screen and it started working again. They checked it over numerous times and couldn't find anything wrong. They could have easily said they replaced the screen and charged me, and I wouldn't have known the difference. Instead, they earned a loyal customer and a good review. If my phone ever does break, I know who I'll be bringing it to. So happy to find a business...
