I came in to replace the screen protector on my phone and was charged $40. The lady who installed it did not clean the screen properly and put the protector on crooked. There were many visible hairs and dirt trapped underneath after installation, so I had to drive back to the store just to have it fixed.
While she was redoing it, she asked me one of the rudest questions you could ask a customer: “Do you have OCD?” Why would you even ask something like that, especially when we are talking about obvious hair and dirt under the screen? That kind of question is completely unprofessional. It is personal, unnecessary, and came off like she was trying to make me feel bad for simply wanting the job done right. You did not do your job properly, and instead of taking accountability, you tried to make me feel like I was the problem.
So I sat there and made sure they cleaned off every bit of dirt before finishing the job, because clearly the attention to detail was not there the first time.
I have been to this shop a few times before, and each time I have walked away a little less satisfied as I have watched the quality go down. But after this experience, I will not be coming back. I do not recommend getting your phone serviced here, especially after that comment.
Side note: that $40 screen protector they recommended for privacy is horrible. It strains your eyes and gives you headaches. I had to take it off. I will be going elsewhere for another screen protector...
Read moreI never leave bad reviews but I couldn't just let it go for the price I paid for, paid over $200. Called & asked to see if they had what I needed before going over. They said yes. The price was higher than other places I called but for conviene of location I decided to come here. Never once re-checked with me when I got there which was fine because we talked about it on the phone. That was my first mistake of trusting them. Keep in mind this is their job, they know what each phone requires, or I should say their job is to know. Paid came back about an hour later to find out the screen put on my phone was not the correct one with the features my phone has. Told me it was an aftermarket screen so not all sensors were there. I asked why I was never told that before paying & he said he tried to call me, I said HOW!? you have my phone no way you were going to get in contact with me! & he said yeah I know. If you want the premium one it's $100 more... WHY!? when from the beginning that's what my phone needed, it's original one.... would of been a total of $300+ .... HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! Tried to tell me I can create a pin change my settings & blah blah.... WHY!? I didn't need to...
Read moreHere is my honest rant I went to the mall to have lunch with a friend and spend some time, and as we passed by the cell phone cart, Celltech, I thought I would just ask for the price to fix the back and front of my phone. The employee told me it would be $220 for the lower-quality screen and $240 for the better quality. He said the difference would be in the video quality. We bargained, and I agreed. Back and front for $200 plus tax. Two days later, my phone screen turned black, and I couldn't reset it. I could hear the phone ringing through my eye buds, but the screen remained black. I immediately went to Celltech. The Guy told me it is because i chose the LOWER quality and i WAS TOLD this would happen and because of the discount he gave me, I should accept it basically. He tried to get me to pay for service even though the phone is under 30 day warranty! I have changed phone screens in the past, and THIS is NOT IT. LEARN FROM ME. I should of went to cheapest Iphone repair on south st. where I usually go and they have GREAT...
