I was ecstatic to learn that All About Pho opened up a second location that would be closer to me! I'm a big fan of their Fullerton location so I knew I had to come and support their 2nd location. I really enjoy their 48 hour cooked broth and the option of unlimited thin noodles. My experience is based on their soft opening. Upon entering the establishment, it definitely gives me classy elegant dining vibes. It's probably the fanciest I've ever felt while eating a bowl of pho. I'm told that similar to their Fullerton location, every piece of furniture has been imported from Vietnam. They still have the robot servers here but they don't have the fancy order pick up system you would see at the Fullerton location.
|| L O C A T I O N / P A R K I N G || -Cross Streets are 183 St. and Gridley Rd. -Located in the same plaza as Luna Grill, Blaze Pizza, The Habit, Broth, Chuck E Cheese and more. -Plenty of parking in the plaza but I would definitely recommend parking near Chuck E Cheese otherwise you'd be circling the lot for a spot. It would just be less than a minute walk away to All About Pho.
|| F O O D / D R I N K S || Matcha Coconut - I had to get my all time favorite matcha coconut drink here! I love that the matcha is so vibrant green and that they are very generous with the amounts of matcha. I am definitely looking forward to other matcha drinks that they may possibly add onto their menu in the future.
Salted Lemonade - My mom's favorite and I can definitely see why. It's definitely a super refreshing drink and if you yeet hay (lots of internal heat), this will definitely cool your body down. It's a nice thirst quencher after consuming a hot bowl of pho.
Thai Tea - I liked that it wasn't super sweet. I usually stray away from ordering thai tea because I can't stand how sweet it is.
Fish Sauce Fries - It was a favorite of mine at the Fullerton location so I definitely was craving it again. It's such a unique concept and is executed well. I love that they chose shoestring fries instead of thick fatty fries to showcase the fish sauce flavor. If you would like more fish sauce flavor, make sure to ask your server for that 40% fish sauce concentrate. It's super strong!
Wagyu Pho - I would recommend telling your server that you would like your meat rare so they can bring out the side of meat on the side. The wagyu was super tender and melted in my mouth instantly. I did notice that the fattiness of the wagyu does alter the taste of the broth a bit so I also recommend taking a sip of the broth before dipping that wagyu in.
Short Rib Pho - This contains 2 short ribs. The meat on the short rib bone fell off so easily. I was quite impressed by that. I always joke that I'll never order anything bone in on a date because I'll look silly trying to get the meat to slide off and that I might accidentally send some utensils flying. I guess I don't have to worry about that...
Read morePho is probably my all time favorite food. I eat Pho at least one time a week majority of the time and I have tried way too many different Pho places. I am from Colorado and was visiting California, and I must say that this may be the best Pho I have ever had.
This was the only Pho I had in California because I was too scared to try a different pho place and be disappointed knowing I could have had the magical pho from All About Pho, so I'm not sure if this is common there, but the best way I can describe All About Pho is this.
They take the traditional Pho that I'm used to, but make it better. They use pickled onions which I didn't even know was a thing until I came here, but they're delicious! they also steam(?) their bean sprouts which in my opinion makes the overall pho experience better. They also provide you with endless refills on rice noodles! No other pho I've been to does this. Personally I can handle about one extra bowl of noodles until I'm super full, but for people like brother, this is awesome because he could probably refill his bowl 5 times easily.
One of my biggest gripes about Pho is the broth. A huge amount of Pho places do a poor job at making good broth. The broth at All About Pho is incredible. It is very flavorful with a pepperyness to it which I haven't had before.
The siracha (which I assume is homemade) is extremely good as well!
Finally, as most other reviews mention, who would have thought eating French fries at a Pho place would have you discover the best fries you've ever had? These fries are seasoned incredibly well and taste delicious! They come with a perfume bottle filled with fish sauce that you can spray on the fries. You may think fish sauce on fries would taste weird, but that is not the case at all. These fries are incredible and I highly recommend them.
Overall TLDR: My favorite part of traveling is eating food. In my time traveling and trying food, I've never gone to the same place twice during my trip. I went to All About Pho twice in my 4 day trip. My brother went 3 out of 4 days. If that doesn't show you how good I think this place was, I don't...

Inside is decorated beautifully! It's simple, yet elegant! But it also feels very welcoming!
The servers were very welcoming, and they made sure everyone was taken care of!
Here's what we ordered:
🍜Spring Rolls - super fresh, very delicious, the sauce was amazing! Can't go wrong with this app!
🍜Fish Sauce Fries - Okay, can we talk about this for a second. So hi-key, this is a must, it's salty, a little sweet, but full of flavor. Also the fish sauce perfume spray to look like a Chanel no 5 bottle, genius! Now my friend realized it was missing something, a bit of spice. So we used hot sauce (we poured it on a plate for dipping, we're not savages) and oh did that balance the flavors out!
🍜Pho Tai Wagyu/Filet Mignon - I put these together because it's easier. But oh... My... goodness. The broth, is buttery, it's a bit thicker than other pho places, it's now my #1 spot for pho. The meats, you can see the quality in both the meats, the Wagyu marbling was chef's kiss and the tenderness of both meats were amazing! We got them Carpaccio style so the meats were in the side, which made the cook on it when we dipped the meat into the broth book to a great consistency. Please try this if you can!
🧋 Matcha Coconut - it tastes amazing, for my friend it's a reminiscence of a matcha sugar cane drink that he orders.
🧋Herbal Iced Tea - This was a strong tea, so I hope you like your tea sorry strong, but that's how it was for me. Definitely can taste the slight bitterness amongst the other flavors. I did take it as a sipping drink!
Overall this place is amazing! It's some of the best...
