The guy that did my nails did not listen to what I wanted...he did my nails how HE though they should be...regardless of what I said he did not listen. He kept suggesting shorter and Cut my nail super short against my request. I was then charged an additional $10 for clear gel on top of my nails. Now- I don't mind paying for quality...but $10 extra? Seriously. Also I asked the lady for a price for eyelashes and she told me $145 and went on to state how her customer keep them on for years only needing a retouch here and there.....Well news flash- I'm a tourist and DON'T plan on returning to Chalmette very often. Its funny how she Never mentioned the other options for eyelash extensions ( which were ironically way less expensive) until I was on my way out of the door. It appears to me that they provide service on different "levels" based on how you "look" to them. Here's a tip Aqua Nails....when someone says they want long coffin nails you should honor their request. I received a very short stubby ugly full set. Not my style. I go to this nail shop faithfully & have been doing so for at least 4 years. Today was the WORSE. I had an appointment for 1, no one started my nails until 1:30 (what’s the point of having an appointment). My son had to use the restroom & they tell me “we don’t have a working restroom) so I had to bring my son down the street to use the restroom. I come back and the girl who was doing my nails has someone else in the seat doing their nails. I was gone less than 10 minutes and left my bag so I was confused as to why she would take someone else KNOWING I was coming back. Then the owner proceeds to blame me saying “you was gone long, other people are waiting too”. Like um excuse me, it’s not my fault I had to bring my son to the bathroom. I always love my nails, I hate the shape & I hate the way she did my French tips. I said all that to say obviously loyal customers aren’t important so I don’t think...

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER Never waited an hour, only to give up and leave. The nail techs need to know the English language better or they are just ignorant. I told the nail tech I wanted a refill but first my daughter wants her nails painted. She painted them and as I was helping my kid get into a pedi chair with a new tech...my nail tech took another girl before me. When I confronted her she said " oh you didn't tell me." Oh yes I told her 3 dam times and she nodded her head each time. As I watched my daughter get nails and a pedi I was never sat down. I saw 5 girls go to the back and 3 ladies seates as I waited for nothing.
