Chamber of Commerce — Local services in Chama

I guess this town shuts down on Monday. We are pulling a trailer and tried to stop at the visitor center. They were closed. Went to find another spot to use the restroom since the only place to buy gas was extremely busy. We saw a Subway sandwich place that had a decent parking lot. Sign showed they were open. Went to one door and it was locked. Went to the other door and it was locked as well. I knocked on the door and a guy let me in. The lady came out and said that there bathroom was closed. By this time I really needed to go. She refused to let me use it. She was very rude. As I was leaving she asked the guy that opened the door and was going to let me go. "how did she get in". Just thought I'd let everyone know that if you need to pee you might just have to pee on the side...

I love Chama! Their Chamber of Commerce and Visitor's Center is the place to go if you need a FREE map of NM! They also have many free magazines for you to take. I also got a FREE map of Colorado. Fina's diner is a great place to have breakfast! I swear they have the best green...
