I am sadden to have to write this post...My husband and I had a very bad encounter at the Taco Bell (1707 S Neil St) in Champaign IL. it all started with my husband going to the drive thru on 05/28/2016 around 10pm to pick up dinner after work. He pulled up and the woman working the drive thru asked if he was ready to place his order...He asked for a few moments to look over the menu and she said order when ready. So after a couple of seconds he said he was ready to order...there was no reply on the other end. Another five minutes when by and still he was unable to place an order...or have any communication with the woman working the drive thru. So, he called the store and told the person that answered the phone that he had been now sitting in the drive thru for 10 minutes trying to place and order...and the woman said to him... "I TOLD YOU TO WAIT!" At this point he asked to speak to the manager...She told him to pull up to the window....so he did... The lady then proceed to tell him that she was the manager. My husband said that this is bad customer service and all he wanted to do was place an order and there was no need to be rude. At the time the associate said to him, "that's your opinion." closed the window and refused service. This is when I called the store and asked for the store manager's name. I was called a stupid a number of derogatory names...all climaxing to being called the "N" word, and having her hang up on me. I do have the store manager's name, the district managers name and the regional managers name. I will never again eat...

If you’ll notice that in the last month all but TWO reviews are a 1 star. And no one from this place seems to acknowledge their reviews. So that should say something.
We ordered 2 of the chicken tacos, a water and then 3 of the Doritos locos tacos with a mtn dew. We added extra stuff on the 3 Doritos tacos. We also had a mobile order. We forgot to say that we wanted the 3 tacos as a meal with a drink so he added a drink at the end and the lady on the microphone said “oh you wanted a meal?” We said yes and apologized for forgetting to state that in the beginning. She then proceeded to audibly huff and then said to pull around.
We pulled around and paid etc. We then asked for the mobile order and stated that we forgot to ask about it at the microphone. She told us that we need to pull around because “she has a line”. The mobile order was sitting right by the window by the way. So she shut the window in our face and then someone else came and asked who it was for. THEN we finally got our mobile order.
I check my bag (the one with the 3 Doritos tacos). There’s a total of 3 tacos in the bag and there was supposed to be 5. And the 3 tacos we did have were completely wrong. And one was a SOFT TACO! How stupid are you??! How does this happen???

Read moreOrdered the new steak chalupas box that includes 2 steak chalupas, 5layer burrito, soft taco and twists, but swap twists for chips and upgraded to beef taco supreme. This was a pickup in store and eat in. Got regular soft taco, so had to go up and have it replaced, though it was good. 5 layer burrito tasted great but seems smaller than previous as it was only 2 sauce packets long. The chalupas are not standard size but half the size of regular ones. Though meat tasted good, the the deep fried cheese chalupa breading was tough and rubbery to bite into and eat. I'm NOT a fan. Had to try it however, as it looked good in ads I got. Customer service seemed pleasant. Place was very clean inside, like no one has been in there. Urinal was backed up and wouldn't flush previous use (no pic attached for that).
