Tide Cleaners — Local services in Chanhassen

I cannot speak highly enough about the amazing service I experience on a regular and ongoing basis from this local cleaner. I was devastated when we lost our former local cleaner due to a fire and cut back on my cleaning as a result until TIDE showed up. Admittedly I had some reservations due to the same synonymous to anything but “dry” cleaning but I have them a chance and have never looked back. They pick up and drop off my cleaning at my front door, Ann and the team are excellent communicators and value my business and are always reaching out with any questions which I really appreciate. I have NEVER been disappointed with their services which is huge as we clean A LOT of garments and have typically had 5-10% of broken buttons or issues causing damage to my garments but not here! So much so that one blazer has scuffed buttons and they returned them with brand new ones- I have never seen that before! They provide regular coupons and samples for at home laundry and the storefront is immaculate and convenient for pick ups and drop offs (offering a 24 hour drop slot) when I actually DO need to stop in. Story time. I brought in my blue Polo sportscoat to be cleaned. The last time I wore it I lost the top button. I made a mental note of it to have it sewed back on. After I wore it I took it to Tide cleaners in Chanhassen. That was about two or three months ago. Today I am prepping my clothes for an event and I remembered that I needed to have that button sewed. When I removed my sports coat from the plastic I immediately notice the button was there. I then thought I was losing my mind. I opened my top drawer in my closet and the button that I needed to have sewed was in the drawer...as I had put it there. I held up the button to the one on my sports coat and was astonished that they had sewed a matching button on it. I am so impressed. Thanks. I never expected that level of service. I chose to get my wedding gown cleaned and preserved at Tide Cleaners after seeing on the website that “we preserve your dress inside an acid-free box with a picture window for you to view” (see photo from website).

Unfortunately, there is no window on the box - the dress is just stored in a big white box with plastic wrap over it… so I spent nearly $400 and can’t view the dress. I can’t even verify it’s my dress or that it’s cleaned unless I open it all up from the protective wrapping. I understand this may be better for preservation purposes, but that is not the service advertised. I could have spent 1/2 this price elsewhere and had the box with the view available. Disappointing.
