Nautilus in Kanawha City has completely transformed! The new owner has given the gym a fresh look and brought in tons of brand-new equipment. I love that they offer so many classes throughout the week—there’s always something to fit my schedule. The personal trainers are excellent, knowledgeable, and motivating, which makes a huge difference in my workouts. Nautilus KC also has a pool, hot tub, sauna, and steam room. This gym uses gym mats with holes in them for their main floor. These are not conducive to being clean. Dirt, sweat, spit, and who knows what else falls on the floor during the day. Their machines are older, very few have cup holders or anyplace to hold your phone or water bottle. The only option, if you want to keep your things with you, is to put them on the filthy floor. When your air pods fall out, they fall onto the dirty floor and then go back into your ears. How this is acceptable is beyond me. These floors desperately...

Nautilus has gone downhill exponentially. Staff has always been friendly... management has not, and its only gotten worse since new owners. The way they speak to staff is completely disrespectful and unnecessary. Memberships have gotten ridiculous from $40 a month to near $50 now... not worth it especially to deal with either creepy old men staring or teen boys taking up all the benches. Cool they got new equipment, but members are the ones footing the price for sure. I would def NOT chose this gym if I was looking...
