Doctor's Choice Pharmacy in Wheatley Center has 20% off most items in the store (excluding prescriptions) on Saturdays and Sundays. They have housewares, school supplies, and over the counter medicines at usually good prices.

There's a beauty supply store that I often forget about which is the downside of strip malls. You can't see at a glance all the stores so you tend to only go to the one you need and not knowing about the others.

I Like Wheatley for its sole BAKERY which offers the nicest rye loaf for under 5 bucks! A Toasted slice is light and airy and suitable for any meal! Guava Danish stands out as a winner for me. Cant get enough of that light danish pastry! Some hard to find items show up at the Fruit Bowl and with their organic produce and herbs and weekly specials, I must stop there. Dr.Choice always has surprise items and their Saturday 20% off on some items makes it a more rewarding experience! Quick and knowledgeable staff another plus! Most of my hair needs can be purchased at Wheatley. Payless shoe store and bargain apparal at Mariannes, plus sizes too! Moving to higher ground at Wheatley u can cover ur event at the party supply store! Worth checking out, but do be prepared to wait a bit for parking....

This is a small mall strip on the island. You can buy clothes, there is a pharmacy, bakery and it is just a few steps to a larger shopping area, Lockhardt Gardens. I frequent The Fruit Bowl for my natural health foods and Wings on fire which , despite its name, cook kebabs, baklava, falafel, to name a few.
