Tropical Treasure Hunt Co. — Attraction in Saint Thomas

This was so much fun!

We chose "The Golden Age of Piracy" with a slight modification to our adventure. We started in an escape room type environment, then followed the clues and walked to the pirate museum where we got to spend an hour with no one else in there. Half of our group was searching for clues and half of our group was enjoying the private museum. From there our clues led us to a beach on the other side of the island where we had to figure out the next set of clues (which we received "the book" from a bartender). After fortifying ourselves with liquid courage we proceeded on to search the beach for our final buried treasure. We had K'Shard as our guide and when we came to the final stop there was an extra challenge that Mr. K'Shard helped us navigate through. He was great in providing hints without giving things away. All round it was a lot of fun!

In speaking with Mr. K'Shard we got excited about attempting some of the longer treasure hunts. Coming from only doing escape rooms, some have 4 or 5 rooms in them, it was such a great change of pace to go to different locations. I personally loved the 1 hour of uninterrupted time in the pirate museum. That was so interesting!

If we ever make it back to St. Thomas or St. John we will definitely do another Treasure Hunt with the Tropical Treasure Hunt Co. It was a lot of fun and we made some great family memories that we will not ever forget! ...

We live on the island and had a large group of people come on island for our wedding. We decided that Tropical Treasure Hunt would be the perfect group to entertain our wedding guests and show them a good time on the island. They were wonderful! They were in constant communication with my husband whenever we had any questions or needed to make changes. They accommodated my disability and were just lovely people. It was an absolute blast! They took care of transportation for our group, the actual treasure hunt was fun and informing about the island's history which I just love. The kayaking was amazing. It was at night and there is just no light pollution in the area we were so it was nothing but starts. It was beautiful. I was so stressed from the wedding and coordinating that many people on an island but with Tropical, I was able to breathe and completely enjoy the day and relax.

I recommend them to anyone who wants a fun filled day on the island. They offer several different treasure hunts and I can't wait to try...

We did the Island Treasure Hunt - Golden Age of Piracy

While most of the people are super friendly, they have an employee named Lynn that has a major attitude problem. 3 separate incidents involving her including preventing a handicapped person with a walker from using "her" elevator & people in our tour group from using the restroom after getting permission from another employee while at the pirate museum. We truly loved the whole scavenger hunt aspect of the excursion, but it was certainly lacking. We paid over $1,100 for this excursion for 8 people (6 Adults & 2 Kids). The sand castle at the end where the the "treasure" was burried, was simply a sand pail filled with sand turned upside down, gave the appearance of a 5 year old putting it together. Overall lacked detail throughout the whole experience for a very high price tag. With everything else to do on the island, I wouldn't recommend...
