Best birthday ever 10 stars!!!(this is going to be a long yet informative one) I’m so glad I booked with Micky and Lolli and you will be too! I booked this excursion for my birthday to host a party of 4 for the jeep and reef experience and an experience it was! First Micky picks you up bright and early so that you can make the most of your day (8-4:30). We rode in a cool jeep high off the ground with the top back and the sun kissing our skin. Micky which was our host was a very safe and careful driver who knows his way around the island very well, Micky was preparing with plenty of beverages for us through out the day to keep us hydrated and gave us a beautiful tour of the island and some fun facts while heading to our first stop. Our first stop was to red hook where we took a boat to the beautiful Maho Bay beach in St. John. While there we went swimming and snorkeling in the ocean (I jumped in with no regrets) the water was absolutely beautiful and crystal clear. I got to swim next to a massive turtle who later poked his head above water a few times. It was so beautiful. After that we loaded back up on the boat and headed to another beach in St. John Christmas beach where you will see beautiful fish of all sizes and colors You will have plenty to see during this excursion (jeep and reef) I highly recommend it! After snorkeling is done you’re provided with unlimited drinks and snacks such as water, rum punch, and a drink called a painkiller (also comes in non alcoholic) and snacks like chips, and cookies. We stopped for lunch at a local restaurant for some of the island’s traditional dishes called Brooks which the locals highly recommend and suggest. Micky allows you the option to choose where you’d like to go he will take you anywhere you name it. Micky took us to one of the top 10 most beautiful beaches in the world(Google it I’m serious) Magan’s Bay! It was so beautiful and relaxing the sand was so soft. I was blown away and worn out after all of this adventure! This was the best excursion out of all of the ones I’ve done. Micky was friendly and also has connections so if you want to add anything like parasailing or something to your package he can make it happen. Stop Searching and Book with Sunfari!

My family and I visited St. Thomas in mid-December 2020. Since we had already been to the island previously, we already knew which sites we wanted to see and what we wanted to do. After asking for recommendations in my Beach Bar Bums group on Facebook, the overwhelming response was to go with Sunfari. I’m glad we did!

Communication with Micky was quick and easy. I told him the spots we wanted to visit, what we were interested in and he filled in the rest. If someone was ever born to do a job, it was Micky. He was a gracious and patient host, took us to the spots he knew we would enjoy based on our interests and was absolutely amazing with our kids. There was never any pressure to move on from one spot to the next. He simply waited until we were done and then we went on to the next stop.

If you’ve never done a Jeep tour or don’t own a Jeep, riding in one of Sunfari’s Jeeps is an experience in and of itself. I own a Jeep so when I found out the top was going to be off, I was excited. There’s just something about cruising the island in a topless Jeep that can’t be beat.

An added bonus of doing a tour with Micky is that he takes pictures of your group all day. I’ve often wished I could have my own personal photographer to document my travels and experiences and with Micky, that wish finally came true. He’ll capture moments you miss and at the of the day, that’s always worth the price of admission and just another way he separates himself from the other tour operators on the island. We booked a tour with Sunfari for January 14th, due to our cruise timing (11:30-5pm) and our limited Wifi (Thanks NCL), it was a bit of a cluster, however, the team at Sunfari were fantastic to deal with and were able to accommodate us.

We met Scott and James, who were immediately welcoming, and asked us where and what we would like to do. After watching some YouTube videos on St. Thomas, we had a few places in mind, but wanted a fairly local experience.

Scott and James took us to a few look out points, and a beautiful beach where we were able to swim and snorkel with turtles, Nomads for some wings, and finally for a Bushwacker.

Our tour with Sunfari was without a doubt the highlight of our trip, and somehow, Scott and James managed to avoid all of the cruise crowds (which is a huge thing for me).

We have recommended Sunfari, and St. Thomas to our family and their friends in the Caribbean, and hope to send them more business in the future. As well, we will certainly be returning and rebooking with Scott and James!
