Lived here for a few months and had to break the lease due to many reasons. We could never get in touch with anyone in the office, when we did it was always via email. Upon moving in, we never had working key fobs; and the regional manager at the time gave me his fob off of his own key ring. Unfortunately, it was deprogrammed days later and did not work. We couldn't even get in the building on moving day. Total nightmare and could not get anyone on the phone to help us with the issue. No one knew how to program the fobs and no one had any replacement fobs already programmed. On top of all of that, they enforced towing and issued parking passes. They forgot to issue a pass to us and when we asked, they said they aren't really towing and it was only a "deterrent" for non residents who parked here. Well, we were promptly towed. We couldn't get anyone on the phone, no one by email and had to pay and get our car. Then we were told they couldn't reimburse us, only that they could credit us on our next months rent. Who wants to be out $260 until the next month's rent?? Just annoying and totally inconvenient to deal with. They do not care about their tenants at all. I would never recommend this...
Read moreI lived here for over a year and a half. You can't beat location. It's so easy to access the highway or any other parts of town. It's right in the heart of Wesley Heights, with beautiful areas to walk along the greenway, through the neighborhood streets or in the parks. Super close to Bank of America Stadium. Great view of the Uptown Skyline if your apartment is facing the parking lot. Currently great management. DeWayne, Building Manager, is top notch. Very responsive and professional. Super helpful. Before DeWayne took over, getting a hold of management was almost impossible and upkeep of the facility was sub-par, but now he has really turned it around, updated finishes, cleaned up amenities and social areas. After my wife and I got married, she moved in with me here since they were flexible on my renewal rate, which was also a blessing. We lived here together for 7 months married, until we bought a house. We were both very sad to leave our first married home, Asbury Flats, but we're also excited for our new home and what's to come. If you're interested in AF, I'd call and get a hold of DeWayne and he'll help you the best...
Read moreWe have been trying to contact someone at the leasing office regarding an apartment for at least two months. We tried to tour the complex multiple times and there was always an issue. When we were finally able to tour the apartment, we were given a quote that would expire in 2 days. Coincidentally, the website to apply for the apartment was down for weeks (still is) and our quote expired. We tried contacting multiple people and numbers, but no one "knows what's going on" due to new management. We were given an application via email through Bart Schroeder and applied a month ago. We still have not heard back from anyone regarding our application. This place is so unprofessional and truly a mess and a waste of time! I can only imagine what it must be like to live here. The only explanation for this horrible experience: they are ignoring those in which they provided a decent and affordable quote because the unit seems to be more expensive today (+$300) due to the transition. Instead of being transparent, they chose to ignore us because they did not want to honor the quote given previously. They are disgustingly dishonest and...
