Rhino Market & Deli — Restaurant in Charlotte

Several of the employees are entitled rude . My crew was restoring the apartment's power across the street and it was 98 degrees that day. My guys went in and got a drink & sandwich. The register had a option for a tip ( to tip the cashier for ringing up a few things), apparently one of my guys didn't pay a tip and she chased them out into the parking lot cussing and treating them like scum.. we was still working the following day ( haven't went home yet and going on 27 hours without sleep or rest ), and it happened a 2nd time when they went for another Gatorade and sandwich, this time 2 employees pulled the same crap..I also believe they are the one who called the news crew out about us leaving the apartments without power ( we was fixing/ replacing the bad underground power line that burned up, and we was going the best we could under the conditions). I have a medical condition with my lungs I was asked to put a mask on so I very politely said no thank you I can go somewhere else if you want but I don't wear those. The girl took it personally like I was trying to argue and was frustrated that the threat of not serving me can't work since I had already decided I wouldn't spend money here. She then childishly demanded I give the mask back bc "they're not free" (ironically she had just handed it to me for free) No one has ever been rude to me here until today and personally it's not anyone's business what medical issues I face. If you want to wear a mask and think it helps thats great. Good for you. But for the rest of us that need an inhaler to walk up on flight of steps (plus my claustrophia) it's really ridiculous. 2nd time I gave this place a try. Seems whoever owns this business has lame rules and policies. 1st time was at uptown location. I arrived 10 min before their breakfast ends and was told they already shut the grill down and they made no effort to assist in any solution. Probably a year later comes 2nd try, at the morehead location. I called in a couple of breakfast orders just fine. However when I arrived without warning to learn that they don’t accept cash over 20.00 and the only bill I had was a 50.00 bill on me, I received no help in the matter except an excuse that the owner has this policy. To the owner if your going to be cowardly about accepting cash I suggest your more up front about this. And hopefully adjust accordingly if a circumstance like these occur.
