Dollar Tree — Local services in Charlotte

I experienced the worst customer service from this store on Thanksgiving 2024. I had the worst pain and wanted to stop in here to get some ibuprofen. It was about 4:50 pm and we were grateful to see that they were open. When I walked in I immediately heard and saw a skinny black male yelling at customers telling them to "get out! The store is closed" an older man said "I'm sorry but the door was still unlocked" the man continue to yell not only at the older gentleman but also at a few of the other people who walked in too. He held the door open for us to leave and said "You don't wait until Thanksgiving to get NOTHING last minute!" As a customer, we were all flabbergasted!!! My boyfriend immediately got out the car to protect me and the situation because of the look on my face but the gentleman shut the door and locked it. I was so upset that someone would talk to a customers.... let alone an elder like that. My goodness! It's Thanksgiving....the door was still unlocked and it's a way to talk to people. I'm not sure what was going on with this young man but I definitely feel like he needs to be terminated for that and I'm gonna pray for him because he definitely needs it. Dollar Tree is one of my favorite store but unfortunately I will not go back to this one, I would rather go to the one on Sugar Creek than to deal with someone like that. Please hire people that actually want...

I just experienced the most horrific shopping trip imaginable.I mistakenly brought to the register gain dryer sheets that were much more than I had expected.My cashier whom is the shift mgr.told me that I didn't want it so I needed to return said item back to the shelf.I stated I'm not going back there.His response was "then you can leave".I asked are you serious right now.He proceeded to remove the rest of my items.He then instructed the waiting customers to come forward with their merchandise.I politely stepped to the side and asked for corporate number.He then stated "I am corporate"You can leave now".Never have I ever experienced customer service as horrible as this experience.Im never stepping foot into this establishment again and I'm suggesting that others don't either.The unprofessionalism is driving a dagger into the heart of this community.If this is the actual corporate mgr that's behaving in such an uncouth manner.How can we as consumer expect great work ethics and customer service from the other employees.That Manager is singlehandedly bringing the place as well as the moral down and needs to be removed before anymore damage is done...

If 0 stars was an option I would choose it. There was this worker I believe her name started with an L. Anyways I had bought some snacks because me and my family were getting ready to go on a road trip, some of my family didn’t wanna go in the store so they sent me to buy their stuff. So I bought their snacks and drinks, I’m at the register and all of a sudden when she looks behind me she starts laughing, then they start having a full blown conversation about me buying those snacks right in front of me. Saying she would eat alot and puke she doesn’t understand how people eat like that blah blah blah. Whatever your name is women, I hope you know that you were judging a child who was just buying snacks for her family cause they were on a road trip. Moving on this place is always empty they don’t even have those tiny boxes of dog food plus there is trash all over the floor outside at least have a trash...
