Absolutely abysmal experience and customer service. Have been trying to close an account with Wells Fargo Advisors for over two months. Between running us through hoops (like rejecting a form for not having the account number, despite no place to put the account number besides "office use only" fields), to wasting our time by making the only possible way to contact them being a phone call and 30-50 minute son hold, to slow walking the transaction to the point where they literally lied to us, telling us that the transfer had initiated on the 17th but when we checked back on it later they said it wasn't initiated until the 24th.
I will never hold funds with Wells Fargo again after this awful experience with Wells Fargo and Wells Fargo Advisors. Charging 6% commission on trades in a "managed brokerage account", yet for all that money I can't contact an advisor directly, everything is funneled through their main contact number so you can weave your way through an AI assistant trying to talk to a human being.
Highly recommend you find another broker for your funds. Their online interface is garbage, their fees and commissions are outrageous, and good luck getting actual results from customer service agents who will lie...
Read moreThis Wells Fargo facility is private and not open to the public unless you have a host who will escort you while on site. That being said this Wells Fargo facility is a little town of its own. There is a barber / salon, a cafeteria with different menus and focuses, a food court with name brand restaurants like Chick-fil-A Quiznos saveros Etc., a full fitness center, a tax preparer and many other things. In the building is Central on the property and surrounded by ample parking with overflow Lots, as well as a 6 story parking garage at the rear of the building/ building 3. There is a nature trail that is about a mile long starting from WT Harris at The Visitor Center going down behind the building to a gazebo at the end. There's an Ice Pond area with a little bridge to cross and a shaded Amphitheater and if you go by the Child Development Center there is a pavilion with picnic tables, grills, sand pits for volleyball, and restrooms. There is always someone working on an area to upgrade at whether it be carpeting, pictures, or updated lunch room area with different vending machines. Very impressive facility so don't be overwhelmed when you...
Read moreNew to the area, so GPS tried to send me to the chick-fil-a on Wells Fargo's private campus. I didn't know the two lane road up to the security badge reader gate was a private road...nor did I know GPS was sending me to a gated campus. Needless to say there is no place to turn around.
I pressed the button to speak with security and asked if I could please turn around as there was no way to make a 3 point turn. I was rudely told to back up and leave. Ok. that's about 1500 feet of reversing down 1 lane before it opens back up to two lanes. "Could I please enter and make a LEGAL u-turn?" "No sir you need to back up and leave right now"
So I did.
Had a car been behind me to go through the gate this would have been impossible without all cars behind also reversing to get out of my way.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME!
So if their security guards are that awful, I can only imagine what the rest of the...
