On November 9, 2022, this place deserves no STARZ !!! My date and I came in to have dinner around 8pm we were seated by the hostess who was really nice but they sat us in the young lady name Brittany section. That was the 1st mistake from the jump the young lady had an attitude not sure what the animosity was about. But it was there she was rude and made smart remarks as a paying customers we should be treated better than that. When she came around to bring our soup and salad she slams the food down on the table and I asked when the chicken bites would be ready she stayed when they get ready. now that was it! We asked for the manger Christine Or Alyssa (whatever her name was) multiple times so we can get a new server. We just wanted to enjoy our meal thatās all But she never came we moved to the bar and the bartender was so welcoming and the young lady is in the kitchen screaming out anger using fowl language calling me out of my name. We are still Looking for the manager she didnāt come out until the young lady is out on the dinning area scream cursing manager did nothing but ask us to leave. Like we were the aggressors. Then the young lady attempts to try to assault us then boom a physical altercations begins. She was throwing glassware hitting other staff members and a lot of the customer in the bar area. She even assaulted the manager trying to attack me! Manager still did nothing With that being said I am utterly disgusted about the behavior that took place in that establishment. The manager couldāve rectified the situation had she came out initially to solve the problem. The manager never apologized for not one thing. The only thing she could say was āI was busy in the kitchenā which is unacceptable. When running a restaurant if you are the kitchen manager fine do your job in the kitchen. But where is the front manager to handle situations with your customers. This situation should not have blown up the way it did. I am a frequent customer of this location so to go through something like this is not setting well with me! I hope the young lady Brittany has been dealt with. I will be contacting the higher ups in this company about this situation. Do I recommend this location yes if they have better wait staff and no if they are hiring unprofessional people who donāt really...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDO NOT....I repeat DO NOT pay with Credit Card or Debit Card at this location including via the Longhorn App. I placed a curbside order on 9/17 and the bill came to $63.56 in which it included a $8.29 tip. I have an email confirmation from Longhorn of my order for that amount. However when I checked my bank account I noticed 2 separate hard posted transactions from this Longhorn University Charlotte location one for $63.56 and another for $8.83. I called the restaurant directly on 9/19 and spoke with a manager who I will not name. He stated that he would look into it and get it fixed. I didn't receive no follow-up as he said he would. On Tuesday 9/24, I decided to submit a complaint via Longhorn Customer Relations website. I received an email from Longhorn customer relations on 9/26 stating......
"We have noted your comments concerning the addition of a gratuity to your check. We have reached out to our Accounting Team to refund the $8.83 back to your card that will reflect within the next 3-5 business days."
I also received a call directly from a man directly from this Longhorn restaurant on 9/26 stating the same thing as their national customer relations representative stated in an email. However, today 9/27 I received an email from Longhorn with a receipt attached and it CLEARLY showed that someone charged me .50 for tap water which came to .54 before they added a damn 8.29 tip. Which is why my bank shows Longhorn as 2 separate transactions because someone at this restaurant clearly did something VERY shady and unauthorized to get an additional 8.29 tip. How can you charge someone tap water for curbside pickup and didn't even get out of the car for the order nor asked/received the tap water. I know 8.83 isn't much but what bothers me the most is that someone took advantage of an online customer order using Longhorn App just to make $16 tip. CONSIDER this a warning and be cautious of using plastic to pay for your orders at this restaurant. I STILL EXPECT my refund and I hope you find the person who increased their tip without my consent. This will be reported to BBB, FTC and Darden Restaurant CEO because Fraudulent activity is wrong and reflects negatively on the company and its...

My family and I are what you might call professional diners. Due to our demanding schedules and a love for good food, we often dine out upwards of 15-20 times a month. Over the years, we've had the privilege of being "regulars" or even "family" at dozens of establishments, including some of the most renowned steakhouses across the country ā think The Capital Grille, Smith & Wollensky, The Palm, Morton's, Houston's Steakhouse, Keens, Eddie V's, and STK. So, when I say we know our way around a good steak, I mean it. We understand quality, preparation, dedicated staff, and above all, the true value of exceptional customer service.
This past Valentine's Day, we found ourselves at the LongHorn Steakhouse in North Charlotte almost by accident, simply because we were in the area. Given the holiday, the place was absolutely packed, bustling with activity. Yet, despite the chaos, they delivered excellent customer service and phenomenal steaks. Everything was cooked to perfection, leaving us thoroughly satisfied ā but also thinking it was probably a lucky fluke.
Then came our revisit on July 14th, and I have to tell you, the experience was just as mind-blowing. The food was as delicious as we remembered, and the service was spot-on, friendly, and incredibly attentive. And when I say those 20+ ounce steaks ā a juicy ribeye and a beautiful, thick-cut New York strip ā were cooked to absolute perfection with the ideal blend of savory seasoning, you have to believe it. It truly blew us away.
For the price point, this establishment simply could not be better. I even asked our waitress who was behind such culinary mastery, and she revealed that brothers in the kitchen prepared our steaks ā one for the ribeye, the other for the New York strip. I don't know where they honed their craft, but whatever magic they're working in that LongHorn kitchen is something truly special.
Do yourself a favor and experience this for yourself. When you visit, tell them you read my review and you're there to taste one of the single best steaks in all of Charlotte. You won't be...
