Anatolia Cafe & Cuisine — Restaurant in Charlotte

Just discovered Anatolia Cafe and Cuisine, and I have to say—it’s a welcome and refreshing addition to the local dining scene. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm hospitality and the inviting aroma of spices that instantly transport you to the Mediterranean.

The menu is thoughtfully curated with authentic Turkish and broader Mediterranean flavors. I tried the Adana kebab and it was perfectly spiced, juicy, and served with fluffy rice and fresh salad.

What really stood out was the attention to detail in presentation and service. The staff were knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about the cuisine. The decor also deserves a shoutout: modern, cozy, and tastefully accented with Anatolian touches.

I’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu—especially the desserts (I’ve heard the baklava is phenomenal).

Best Coffee and Matcha in Univeristy City -North Charlotte. The lead barista Kendall is there ask for him! He’s the best (and so stylish), always has the greatest recommendations. Every time I try something new, food or drink, I’m never disappointed! I’ve been going to Anatolia ever since they open and it has become my new favorite cafe and work space. This place is a breath of fresh air. Favorite Drinks: Traditional Hand-whisked Matcha (not sugary powder) with Vanilla and/or Lavender Sweetener (great iced or hot, and great with oat-milk or regular milk), Mocha Vanilla Turkish Cappuccino (Secret Menu Item - I ask for half sweet with regular milk), Jasmine Pearl Tea + Moroccan Mint Tea Blend with Honey, Traditional Turkish Tea

Add a Mozzarella Sesame Açma (similar to a croissant but better!) for a great on the go quick bite (also have Plain, Chocolate, Pistachio...

The recently opened Anatolia Cafe and Cuisine in Charlotte was great for the most part. We visited on an early Thursday evening for dinner and it wasn’t busy.

The lady serving us was quite polite and cheerful, which we really appreciated. For food, we got:

Mediterranean Mezze platter: The bread was delectable. Hummus, Babaganoush and tzatziki went well with the bread.

Garlic Parmesan Fries: These were okay. We were looking for more garlic and Parmesan, but the fries lacked them.

Chicken Pide: We were really looking forward to this but sadly it turned out to be quite bland. :(

The vanilla latte was great. They’ve an extensive menu consisting of pastries, teas and other food items from Turkish cuisine.

The seating area inside is large enough to accommodate busy hours.

Parking is available outside.

Overall it was a 3.5-4/5 star...
