We have been looking for gym mats for a while. The requirement was that we bought rubber mats, instead of foam or a foam mix type of mat. We came across Freedom Fitness Equipment through Facebook Marketplace. I didn’t think much of it, but texted the number on their ad. Ashton is the person on the other side. He replied to me almost immediately. I actually had MANY questions and he kindly and patiently provided me with answers and guided me in the right direction. We ended up stopping by one Saturday morning to check things out. Ashton was not there but we met Celso. Celso was great, he showed us around, showed us all flooring options we could choose from, listened to our goals and suggested the best type of flooring we could get for our space. This is for a very small home gym, but we wanted to ensure we were protecting our hardwood floors and still have enough cushioning for heavy workouts. Their pricing is very reasonable and honestly the best in the local market for the quality of materials you get. The mats are full rubber and very sturdy. The puzzle pieces are easy to install. For our space, we have to cut some of the mats and while it’s not super easy to cut them, it’s also not that difficult to do so. You do need the right type of pocket knife but I am a short and not very strong girl and cut the mats to size myself. If I can do it, anyone can! I highly recommend doing business with Freedom Fitness. Freedom Fitness have been awesome since day one! I have been a loyal customer now for a little over a year or so. The product has always been top notch or they immediately remedy it. The service has been second to none. I purchased an Olympic bar from them that had begun to show signs of rust. Before I could contact them they reached out to me to ask how the bar was doing for me. They let me know the manufacturer they used had several other bars showing rust and wanted to make sure mine did not. It did and they took the extra steps to not only contact me but offer multiple solutions. I chose to replace it with another bar, the replacement bar has been great ever since! I have purchased some used plates, new cast plates, new machines plates, cable attachments, a new bench, new dumbbells, & a weight tree for my plates. All of them have been great and by far the best cost I have found.

My son Cameron had been looking for weights since late spring however the price was a little steep with him being in college. I asked him have you prayed and asked God about it? Yes he cares about what we pay for things. Yesterday was his 22nd bday and what you know he found Ashton of Freedom Fitness selling 420lbs for $250, thought it was an error but reached out and he called me to answer my questions related to how this transaction would work since he had purchased them through an auction held in Tuscaloosa Al. I even asked him how do I know you're not gonna scam me😄 He said thats a good question and assured me he was legit. Allowed us to review the paperwork and pay this morning. We both won today, he didn't have to drive from NC and Cameron only had to drive 35 mins. He is ecstatic to add these to the first deal we got with a new bench and 200lbs weights with bar.
