Could give 0 stars if I could. I was ready to buy several items, but when I asked the female employee to use the dressing room, she said “oh you absolutely cannot” with a grin on her face. I had asked nicely, so I was completely thrown off by her response and asked if she was joking. I still said this with a smile on my face because I genuinely thought she was. that’s some people’s humor, so i still assumed the best at that point. She suddenly got all serious and went on to say how she made several announcements that the dressing rooms closed at 8, and that she made all of these announcements before 8. I walked in after 8, and at this point I asked at around 8:20-8:30. I told her I arrived after her announcements, and she had no words. didn’t apologize at all or take any accountability for being rude. Don’t know why some people continue to work in customer service roles when they are clearly miserable with their lives, looking to make others feel the same way they do. If she had said nicely, like a professional, “unfortunately, we closed our dressing rooms at 8,” i would have been TOTALLY OKAY. i respect that. but to be rude to me with a smile on her face for something that i was completely unaware of is insane. it seems like she was waiting to be rude to me. i don’t get it. it was my first time at this place and i was having a great time until she decided to ruin that. i get it, we all get tired at the end of a long day, but that’s no excuse to treat people like that, especially when that energy wasn’t even received initially. her and the other coworker also saw me and my friend walk in after 8 pm, browsing for at least 20 minutes. we were one of the few customers in the store. not once did they come up to us and say “hey, just letting you know that our fitting rooms closed at 8.” completely ridiculous. im hoping this lady isn’t a manager, and if she is, don’t know how she made it that far with her miserable conduct. and if she isn’t a manager, whoever manages her should consider having an employee that drives customers out of the...
Read moreOverall, a very good experience. This was my first time at GW Boutique. There was a great selection, with a variety of good quality brands, pretty good prices, and friendly staff. The store has a nice layout, is clean, and organized. Fitting rooms were very spacious. (If the mirrors in there had frontal lighting, it would be even better. Since overhead lighting is not flattering). There are only 2 fitting rooms at this location. So there is a reasonable limit of 5 items allowed in at a time. Plenty of parking right out front. The only thing that would be better, in my opinion, would be if the prices weren’t quite so “high” (relative to regular Goodwill stores). But I do understand why they charge what they charge. It’s for a good cause. Plus, they do offer 30 days for returns (obviously not worn and with the tag still on), for which you’ll get store credit. Would recommend and will be...
Read moreWow. I've been here a lot over the last two years and enjoyed it, got some cute stuff. I went in today for a little pick me up and the prices!!! Honey save yourself the trouble and just go to a mall where everything is on sale anyway! It's the same price and it's not second hand. What a freaking disappointment, I used to love this store. For context I bought two cloches (a standing candle/terrarium jar thing), one giant one for $8.99 and a medium size one for $6.99 about 6 months ago. I bought a cute name brand dress for $10.99 about a year ago. Today I walked in and there were several cute but not name brand dresses for $15.99 and a cloche about a 3rd of the size of the medium one I already have for $8.99. I walked out. The boutique was always more expensive than regular Goodwill and I understood why but now it's just...
