TLDR: Brunch selection was a let down and the service left a lot to be desired. (Don't spend $34 on the most mediocre brunch ever)
I found out about this establishment from an Instagram food page and saw that they had an all you can eat brunch on Sundays. A friend and I made a reservation for 10:45 am. We arrived at 10:44 and walked inside to see them still setting up. We waited around awkwardly until we were notice by one of the servers that let us know that we could sit down and they would seat us. That's where the good service ended. We were then gestured by a server THAT DID NOT EVEN LOOK AT US that they were finally ready to seat us. It was about 10:52-10:53 which would not have been a problem but I had higher expectations for this 'high end' restaurant. We were seated and a couple minutes until we were given water and met our server. We were the first people there; their should not have been a time between when we got seated and then served when their was literally no other customers. The most disappointing part about the brunch was the food selection which was : a cheese board (cheddar, other generic cube cheese, blue cheese, and another charcuterie block of cheese), fruit (melon, cantaloupe, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, watermelon, and concord grapes), salads (caesar, 'asian' style, and 2 others), a tray of (crawfish, clams, oysters). The hot food options were green beans, roasted root vegetables (beets, sweet potato, potato, and a mystery root that was could've just been burnt to hell but also no label of what root vegetables), 6 cheese pasta with sausage, and meatballs. Their was a small transition between lunch food and breakfast food which had english muffins, mini bagels, and biscuits with strawberry spread, clotted cream, and butter as spreads. The actual 'breakfast' food was sausage gravy, grits, scrambled eggs, bacon, and the driest french toast I've ever had. The other protein options were salmon and a whole ham. The way they set up the serving station made me concerned for cross contamination because the main fruit stand that had strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and grapes only used one pair of tongs and grabbing a grape without accidently touching others was a struggle. Between being ignored by the servers and being asked every 5 minutes if the was good and if I was enjoying myself, I would've preferred being ignored for the rest of time I was there. I can't say anything about the alcoholic drinks since my friend and I don't drink but from what I saw from other tables they looked nice but were probably outrageously expensive. The desert/sweets table got set up 30-40 minutes after the brunch was in full swing and was also disappointing but at that point I wasn't really surprised. There was a smore's station, a chocolate bundt cake, lemon pound cake, and chocolate chip cookies. Easy to say I never want to go again and I'll just stick to dinner breakfast spots because I was not built for 'high end' brunch. Shout out to Eric L for making me feel both ignored and over attended too at the same within a 2...

Are you in the market for a party venue that can handle a crowd that rivals the population of a small village? Say hello to SupperClub Southend, where my recent experience hosting a company holiday bash for a whopping 225 people was nothing short of a holiday miracle!
First off, let's talk about Andrea and her dream team. These folks are the party-planning Avengers - superpowers include flawless communication and execution, with a side of making it look easy. Seriously, if stress were a balloon, they'd be the ones not just deflating it but turning it into one of those fancy balloon animals.
Bartending at SupperClub? More like art-tending! Their mixologists whip up seasonal cocktails and mocktails with a creativity that could make Picasso pick up a shaker. Trust me, your guests will be both quenched and enthralled.
Now, brace yourself for a culinary rollercoaster. The hors d'oeuvres? More like ‘hors d’awesomes’! Picture this: Bacon-wrapped dates with chorizo (because why choose one when you can have both?), crab cakes that’ll make you feel seaside, mini hamburger sliders that are basically cute deliciousness on a bun, ham & cheese croquettes that are little bites of heaven, a vegetable platter that's a garden party on a plate, and sweet meatballs that'll make you rethink your life choices because they're that good. And for our Hanukkah celebration? Potato latkes that would make any Bubbe proud.
But wait, there's more! This place is a one-stop party shop. They've got local DJ and Photo Booth vendors that will make your party the talk of the town. My guests couldn't stop raving – and not just about the food and drinks. They were loving the pool, shuffleboard, duckpin bowling, and a heated patio that's cozier than a hug from your grandma.
The décor? Let's just say if elegance and class had a baby, it would be the SupperClub Southend's interior. In conclusion, if you want to be the party legend among friends, family, or co-workers, this is your spot. I'm already plotting my next event here because let's face it, where else can you find a venue that’s part funfair, part gourmet gala, and...
Read moreHere is my review of Supperclub SouthEnd in Charlotte, North Carolina. We went on a Monday night. They have high price wine and we were the only people there for most of our visit. The place is pretty big. They also have bowling, ski ball and pool tables. We ended up sitting at the bar to make it easier to serve us. The place is modern and has a cool feel to it. They also had TVs to watch games, etc. The food was pretty good. We had the wedge salad and the pimento cheese to start. The pimento with some of the best we’ve had in the city and the Ritz crackers went with it really well. The wedge salad was good. The dressing was very flavorful and it came with plenty of blue cheese and bacon. The head of lettuce was a little brown, but it was still fresh. For our main dishes, we had the brussels sprouts, the ribeye steak and the rib special. The brussels sprouts were cooked pretty well. They weren’t soggy and they weren’t crispy, in between, but the sauce that came with them was really good. The ribeye steak was absolutely delicious. Cooked perfectly. The ribs on the other hand were either over a character or something, they were so chewy, you couldn’t even get the meat off the bones. They took it off our check and gave us another set, but by then we were already full and took it home. They had a great cocktail, wine and beer selection. The half-priced wine was a great deal. All in all it was a good experience. The bartender/server was incredible too. Very attentive and gave us good...
