🌸 Mahalaya Special Bengali Feast Review 🌸
On the auspicious occasion of Mahalaya, we decided to celebrate with a spread from a Bengali restaurant, and the experience was truly delightful.
The Fish Fry was absolutely awesome – perfectly crisp on the outside with a flavourful, tender filling inside. Alongside it, the Vegetable Chop added just the right balance of spice and crunch, reminding us of the classic Kolkata street flavours. The Koraishutir Kachuri was another highlight – soft, fluffy, and filled with that comforting hint of green peas that paired beautifully with the rest of the meal Chicken kosha and Bengali style Fried rice and chilly chicken. To end on a sweet note, the Misti Doi was just divine. Creamy, rich, yet not overpowering in sweetness. The dessert we tried had a very subtle sweetness that lingered gently, making it something we truly loved and savoured.

It is a cloud kitchen at the moment and you can place your orders using the user-friendly website. We ordered chicken biryani, mutton biriyani, and jackfruit shrimp (enchor chingri). Joy da was extremely patient with us as he tried to accomodate our requests at the last moment. I am not exaggerating when I am saying this, if you want a taste of Bengali cuisine, this is as authentic as it gets. The portion size of the biriyanis were more than enough for one person.
