I usually have someone that does my hair, but I needed someone that was open later on a Friday on this occasion, so I called in this salon and scheduled an appt... I got there 10 minutes earlier than the scheduled time... walked in no one said anything, like if I had just fallen from space, lol, after I introduced myself , I sat down at the hair washing station and the young lady comes to wash my hair, it was the most rushed wash ever, like she didn’t want to be there!! I couldn’t understand what the ladies were saying when they were talking in their language, which I don’t care, but in my opinion if it’s a new customer or anyone else, be friendly... I felt so uncomfortable, I got my hair braided and was suppose to go the following morning to get my hair extensions in, even though the price they have is great, I went somewhere else, because the last thing I want is for my hair not to look the way I wanted it! I am super happy because eventhough where I went was double the price, the customer service was great and my hair is exactly how I need to be!

I called them to see if i could come in today to get my hair braided because they close at 12am. The girl asked me when was i trying to come? I told her today, she then told me i needed to make an appointment. I didnt know why i had to make one seeing the fact that they close at 12am. I asked her what time do they close? Because on the website it states at 12am. Her response was "No we don't, we close when the last person leaves". I then said "Well i should just come in right"? She say's "No, you have to make an appointment".

PSA: DO NOT BELIEVE THEY'RE RESPONSE, THEY ARE JUST TRYING TO KEEP NEW CUSTOMERS COMING. THEY WERE VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. CUSTOMER SERVICE...

This place has roaches and gross and had a crying baby the entire time of my experience. I was there for over 6 hours, and the braider kept stopping to talk to another braider, which also took so long for medium-sized straight back braids for them to look sloppy and rushed as the ending results. And then braids were sewed down so that on each side of her ear hid that she ran out of enough of my daughters hair to be braided down. And then they wanted to charge me $110!!!! I usually go to the Motherland on South Tryon but wanted to try a different braider bc they were booked, and my daughter really needed her hair braided....
