I would give a 5 star because the food is really great but I don’t know what’s been happening lately as far as the way they bill people. Last couple of times and including today they have overcharged me. They must’ve implemented a 15% gratuity if it’s a group of 5 or more, which is fine I get it, but it was 4 of us and they charged us that 15% on our bill on top of that 4% more because of whatever credit card system they use (which they are not suppose to do they have to eat that cost vs charging their customers extra). I of course questioned this and what was that for. After about a few minutes talking to another waitress our waitress comes up to me & her and says she doesn’t know if she knows how to do a refund and that no where can do it. I asked for a manger and in Spanish she proceeded to say “so what do you want?” I asked for a manager and she responds “you want your money back” at this point I wasn’t satisfied with her tone of voice and the she snapped at me and told the other waitress just give her money back. Isn’t that what you want. Never going back I can’t stand a place that adds extra things on people’s bills and add all these hidden fees. I would expect that from a phone service but not...
Read moreI’m sorry I don’t recommend this restaurant. First the waitress never came back to ask us how are food was. After 15 minutes of our food being served I was able to order a margarita that tasted like limeonade. I asked for top shelf and she served me the first one with top shelf the second one with house and she charged me top shelf price for both of them. There wasn’t a waitress on site for me to ask them to make it correctly. They never brought up our receipt to review the charges which it included a 15% tip which we didn’t realize until after we left her another tip on the table for her. 6) Pregunta quien desea postre. 7) Tráiganos nuestro bill de comida. 8) Pregunta si van a pagar juntos o’ separados. 9) Explica que van a poner 15% de propina a los quien son...
Read moreFood here is really good! I always get the sopes (Barbacoa) and my fiancé typically gets tacos and switches up the protein. I agree with previous reviews on them charging for things like lemons and even a side of chips to have with their table salsa which does regularly come complimentary at other Mexican style restaurants. The service could use a bit of a facelift, I would recommend ordering to go if they’re busy and keep in mind that you need to get up to pay they do not bring you the check so after you’ve eaten you’re on your own (they don’t really advertise that). Lastly the waitstaff doesn’t speak a lot of English and can sometimes be rude (I’m bilingual so I don’t mind the Spanish, but I’ve seen other customers struggle greatly and get wrong orders because of this). This is one of those places that you go for the food and not...
