A most disappointing experience! This place was recommended by a stranger but I had been looking for a place to purchase oil for a while so I was excited. Upon arrival around 1:15 p.m. the door was closed and locked in my face. A nice young lady stated that the store closes @ 1 on Friday for prayer, even though there more than five customers inside at the time. I was allowed in but had to rush but I was grateful not to have had to waste a drive. There are two fragrances that are my staples so it was a quick transaction, however, I was surprised the cost was double for a 4oz bottle. I wore the oil twice and noticed a difference from what I am used to. The aroma was not long lasting, at all. When I purchase real Muslim oil the fragrance remains even after laundry. This is not it! I returned to the store hoping to speak with a manager instead there was a woman with sores all over her arms questioning me as if she was going provide assistance. After touching all over my items, opening, and smelling the bottles she told me there was nothing to be done. No returns or exchanges. She could have lead with that! I would travel hours to purchase from Taj Essentials. The Purity of each oil is amazing. You only need a couple of drops to fill a room with beautiful aromas. The amount of different burning oils and essentials oils are plentiful. There is something here for everyone’s taste. I sent my husband there a few months ago after researching every essential oil place in Charlotte NC. When he got there, they were closed. My husband called the number to find out the new store hours. The owner of this beautiful establishment answered the phone and told my husband that he was turning around bc he had just left to go home for the evening. My husband said no worries, he would come back again soon. The owner would not hear it and went back to the store and spoke with my husband in great detail about the products. This is customer service at its finest! I will never purchase my soaps, coconut oil, pure honey, essentials oils or burning oils from anywhere but here. World class customer service and top-tier quality oils!

I traveled from Lancaster, PA to Charlotte, NC to visit family. My family kept raving about the amazing products at TAJ!

I made sure to come here on my last day in town. I could smell the fragrance of the oils before I walked into the door!

I loved how the every team members had smiles on their faces. They referred to me by name or as brother, cousin, family!

Absolutely amazing vibe when you enter their space. It’s an awesome feeling and atmosphere. I already had a list of scents I wanted to find. The owners took their time letting me smell different scents. I wanted to buy everything! I was only planning on being there for 15 minutes and stayed for an hour.

I’m telling you, if they add a lounge area and start serving coffee, tea and food, you’ll never want to leave. The atmosphere and ambiance and vibe is amazing and holistic.

I made a second trip with one of my sisters and will definitely return when I’m back in town at the end of August.
