I’ve been going to Supercuts ever since I moved to Chatham 6 years ago. Monica has been cutting my hair for most of the time. I always call beforehand and ask for her specifically. She always cuts my hair without me telling her any preferences. It’s really great for me not to constantly watch the hair cutter to make sure my cut is not going bad. She consistently gives me a clean cut and uses a warm towel to clean off any excess hair from my neck. On top of all of that, she is very friendly and personable. We always chat about family and life experiences. It makes the hair cutting experience all that more enjoyable.
When you find someone you like and can count on, you stay with them, regardless of the location. When the Chatham location closed for a couple of months due to repairs in the last year, I was able to contact Monica and get my hair cut at nearby Florham Park Supercuts where she was working temporarily. It was well worth the drive! Hope she never stops...
Read moreWent to the Supercuts in Morristown (they don't have a google place yet they just opened a few months ago, so I am reviewing this one).
Got my haircut there a few months ago and the girl, Kelly (manager), did a great job on my hair. Needed another haircut and was satisfied the first time, so i went back.
When I walked in, the place was pretty much empty (actually there was NO ONE in there when i walked in. Didn't think they were open, but after a few moments two girls came out from the back.
Ended up getting my hair cut from this young girl.. Thought it looked ok at first. I mean.. how hard is it to mess up a guys short (flip) haircut. apparently she did. Can't see it myself, but people are saying the back is all messed up... I had to fix my uneven sideburns and a few other spots. Also.. the front is wayyy to short so I can't even flip it up.
This place is def hit or miss. Make sure you get a haircut from someone a little bit older with...
Read moreThe stylist assigned to my son's haircut clearly lacked experience with children. While I acknowledge the challenge of cutting a squirmy toddler's hair, the stylist made no attempt to make it look nice. The final result is uneven in both the front and back, resembling an amateur's work at best.
Strands of fallen hair got all over my son and I (I was holding him in my lap). In the end, the stylist put an extremely hot towel directly on my son's neck (way too hot for a young child) and barely cleaned off the remaining hair. Overall it was a disappointing and poor experience. I only went to Supercuts because it was the only place open on Sunday near us, but I will definitely avoid it if I could...
