In High-School, Worked at Hasler's Pharmacy, a few doors doors down in the shopping center, just after they opened, Got hooked, for life! Whenever I am in in town - I pack the cooler and order 'many' Sloppy Joes to bring South... Truly-a-Classic - and they do it right, everytime, pure perfection, on rye. BTW: My son bought me two Hickory Tree Deli T-Shirts for Christmas - and I where them proud - especially when out of the country - Y'all ROCK! Read moreI usually come here for breakfast sandwiches or hoagies. Out of all the local sub shops around, this place is definitely at the very top. They have an 8 inch sub option which is perfect and the quality of food here is very high making it worth every cent! The staff is friendly and very quick to make your order. They also have a wide selection of homemade dishes you can purchase for family dinners or catering events.
My parents live down the road and every time I'm in town to visit I make it a point to come here. I can't get my sub or breakfast sandwich fix...

The only room for improvement is the amount of meat that they put on a sandwich. They charge between $8-9 for a sandwich and the last sandwiches I ordered had no more than about 2 oz. of meat on each hero roll. The problem is made worse when you order plain sandwiches, because I think the assumption is that it is for a child and they need a smaller serving- that's fine, but then the sandwich should cost less.
