Gabe’s Bagels — Restaurant in Chatham Township

Walked in excited to try this place for the first time. We placed our order and the woman taking our order was texting on her phone half turned away from us. We also bought coffee, but they didn’t bother to tell us that they were out of coffee. They gave us iced coffee instead but it was probably the worst coffee i’ve ever had anyways. Overall, we felt unwelcomed, and the staff displayed zero customer service skills. I say this as someone who works in the business as well, and as someone who barely writes reviews. Simply the freshest bagels that don't feel heavy in the stomach. We also love their croissants and many flavored muffins. Gabe's also offers Udi's gluten free bagels, which I get for hubby who has MS ( they somehow taste better than the ones I get from the supermarket). They have a wait line and a pickup line. I'm standing in the wait line waiting patiently for her to address me to take my order. A gentleman came in and got in front of me and I'm trying not to make a scene of the situation figuring she saw me there so she would address me before taking his order.
