Coming from someone that is a Store Manager for a top leading company in Georgia.This place is a joke. My fiancé and I ordered and reclining couch. Not a single employee bothered to ask where the product needed to be placed in the home, including the store manager(Stephanie) and the assistant manager(believe his name was Austin). We live in a town home, the living room is upstairs. Had they asked, they would have come prepared(this should be a part of the job being they also bring out products and place in the home?) but no, we send 2 men out, not prepared AT ALL to move this piece of furniture. Versus evaluating the situation, they proceed to move this product up the stairs, damaging several areas of our home that we just moved into. The 2 employees seemed genuinely apologetic but then comes having to get a claimed filed and now being told that Rent-A-Center has nothing to do with this matter no more but OF COURSE requesting their money…. Damaged home, there’s a nail sticking out of the product, which cut my hand and my sons leg and not only won’t correct the product but will except a return?… meaning they have to come and REMOVE the product and the manager stated herself that they would send 3 people this time to avoid damages… so why wasn’t this evaluated the first time to avoid the damages to begin with? But continues blowing my phone up to get their money when my home is damaged and the compassion towards the situation from this location is pathetic. Read moreI just canceled my order and I BET they charge me. Weds, ordered washer and dryer. Was only ONE set in the store so sure, I'll take it. Was scheded for delivery Fri 3-5 and paid $10 for a 'Black Friday' Deal (??) and 1st week free type deal Got home and remembered my Thanksgiving Dinner was Friday at 4. Called 3x to reschedule for earlier, no answer. Fri, opening time, called to reschedule. Some guys who could care less says idk when it can be. He eventually 'checked' and said yea we can do it tomorrow. Ok, no time frame but I'm excited. Saturday, 4pm call to check. On hold 10+mins to be told sorry, gotta rescheduled for Monday. Not told anything. Not even time, so I asked this time. Begrudgingly agreed to Monday 3-5, officially giving me a very busy Friday. Its now Mon, 5pm. I just cussed the store manager out. I had to call AGAIN and was AGAIN told it would have to be rescheduled for 1st thing in the morning. Reason? THEY HAD TO GO GET ONE FROM ANOTHER STORE! No way would I have picked that one if i had to get one brought in anyway. This location is chaotic. No one knows what they are doing I guess. I am extremely dissappointed. End result, 2 bags of laundry to carry to laundry mat and -$10 plus lost several days of time. I had a pickup scheduled with them for a specific day due to going to a competitor. I advised them it needed to be gone by Wednesday. That was all great until today when they completely switched up and changed everything agreed upon just to make themselves look better with corporate or whatever. And as far as calling corporate, I did and was told I would receive a follow up call in 24-48 business hours. I should have received a call already but they have even failed on that part.
