We had a really awful experience here today. We have gone for years and never had a problem. Today, the stylist misunderstood what my teenage son asked for. I tried to intervene twice, first when I looked up and saw she was using clippers on his head.
She dismissed me and told me II was wrong. I asked my son clarifying questions, such as did he want clippers and a short cut? He said no. I had to let her finish using the clippers on the back to make it even. When she went to the side, I got up again and reminded her he wanted half an inch off. Again, she dismissed me and said he asked for short: I clarified again saying he wanted 1/2 inch of the top and sides. She dismissed me and told him I made her nervous.
Well, then she cut over well over 2 1/2 inches off the sides of my sonâs hair, going pretty much down to the scalp and a traditional boys cut, which he hasnât had in YEARS.. It was not what he wanted, nor even a good short cut, assuming he had asked for one. Itâs a little crooked in spots.
He's pretty devastated, and refused the leave the house the rest of the day. Not sure how heâll go to school on Monday.
Miscommunication is one thing, but my attempts to set her straight were completely dismissed. She told me I was wrong about what he asked for. She kept saying I was wrong!
Worst part? She never even came over after the cut and apologized once I expressed dissatisfaction. Someone else checked us out and she wouldnât speak to me. She ignored my feedback during the cut entirely. My attempts to correct her were repeatedly dismissed And yes, they still made me pay for this 10 minutes of...
Read moreHonestly regret going here, not sure who theyâre hiring these days. I understand this may not be âboutiqueâ pricing but for 30 bucks I expect a decent haircut. My hair has random patches of longer hair. I asked for a fade and all she did was run a 3 across the bottom half of my head. I asked for a messy top and my top indeed looks messy⌠and lop-sided. Sounded annoyed when asking me how I wanted my neck shaped and proceeded to do something and never checked with me by holding the mirror for me to see the back of my head. Honestly I should have spoken up but was in a rush and did not want confrontation. As they say, the difference between a good and bad haircut is about 2 weeks and Iâll absolutely reconsider if I want to come back here, and if so will def avoid the hairstylist I had this time around and instead ask for someone more experienced....
Read moreI was a walk in client and had a very short wait as there were several stylists on duty. The salon was clean and staff were super friendly. I had wash, cut, blow dry done. My stylist was very sweet & we had a great conversation. She had asked how the foam cushion was on my neck during the wash as she just purchased new ones. It was very comfy & I enjoyed having someone else wash my hair for once. I had about 3 inches trimmed off and a few layers put in. My hair came out absolutely beautiful. I was a little shocked at the price however. For wash, cut & blow dry it was $62 and some change. I gave a $10 tip. Over $70 for a cut seems pretty high for Supercuts. Overall a good experience but, overpriced for...
