Horrible service. My husband ordered a Whopper meal, and then I tried to order a cheeseburger, fry, and drink. The cashier interrupted me and asked if I wanted a cheeseburger meal. I said yes. He told us the total and headed to the drive thru window while my husband paid. While we waited several minutes for the cashier to return, we noticed that the receipt only showed the Whopper meal and the cheeseburger. When the cashier finally returned, I told him that I had wanted the meal with the fries and drink, so he rang them up and immediately ran off again. He seemed like he couldn't get away from the counter fast enough. He did not give us the second receipt, so we didn't know the number when the bagger called it out. She was very hesitant to give us our food since we didn't have the receipt and our cashier had disappeared again. No apologies for messing up the order or any kind of effort to make sure we had what we needed. The cashier didn't repeat back either order, ask for size preference for drinks/fries, or offer any condiments. He didn't even stay at the counter long enough for us to ask for anything. I worked at Chick-fil-A for several summers when I was in college, so I know how busy it can be at lunch (it was NOT busy at BK today), and was still able to treat customers as valued guests. So much for "Have it your way!" at this location. In addition to the order mess up, the whole ordeal took way too long for "fast" food and the meal was very expensive for what we got. The patty on my cheeseburger was about 1/4" thick and my husband's Whopper was drowning in mustard. We'll stick with McDonald's a few doors down instead of...
Read moreThe "mission statement" taped to the wall near the registers however well meaning is almost satirical. I stopped inside to place an order to go. I stood at the counter for almost 15 minutes while waiting for someone to finally take my order. Apparently dining room customers are at the bottom of the list of priorities for the staff here. As I stood waiting, 4 other folks joined me in line while we were ignored while the staff focused on the drive through window. Someone finally notice there were dining room customers, and I was rudely greeted as if it was an imposition to wait on me. I watched with amazement as my order was slapped together in the open kitchen, then watched as the staff ignored my completed order which only needed to be bagged and served with fries. I took the order out to the car and unpacked my sandwiches and of course, the order was screwed up. Apparently, double hamburgers are topped with mounds of cheese. LOL. Took the order inside and waited at the counter to get someone to address the problem and have the sandwiches remade properly this time. Got the order right the second time, but somehow the sandwiches were lukewarm and hastily slapped together. The mission statement claims that the restaurant wants customers to be so satisfied with the experience that they're left saying WOW. Yeah, I said, Wow - why do I go to this terrible...
Read moreGoing here is like an adventure every time. Common questions I ask myself include, "Will my hash browns be cold," "Will my soda be the correct flavor," and "Will it even be open?" Today it wasn't open, and kinda looked like it belonged in a zombie movie.
I don't normally correlate fast food with quality food, service, or even hours, but this place exceeds one's notion that a business can effectively stay in business while doing everything wrong.
It's like management has senioritis, and do the bare minimum to stay open (even failing at that sometimes). I sometimes wonder if they even have managers, or if the employees just show up for some reason. Who really knows at this point?
The sad fact is, I still go there three days a week, enough to keep my cholesterol nice and high, and get the same damn thing. I'll probably still go through the drive thru when it closes down for good, in what I can imagine will be when the employees catch on that nobody is actually paying them, and they've just kept this place going on free labor.
Regardless, if you're feeling adventurous, go there. You won't get sick, but I can't guarantee you'll get what...
