MidMod Decor has a wonderful collection of authentic mid-century Danish and American furniture and we highly recommend them. Ten years ago we decided we wanted a different look for our home and rediscovered mid century modern designs. Unhappy with the quality, workmanship and cost of newer reproductions, we went on a hunt to find well made, beautifully designed, authentic vintage mid century modern pieces. We were fortunate to find MidMod Decor and they became our go to place for years now. Barbara and George are experts in their field. Their knowledge and expertise led us to purchase gorgeous top quality pieces that will be treasured for many years to come. The furniture is a great investment too as ours has dramatically increased in value. They do a remarkable job of refinishing and upholstery and will work with you to find or put together an unusually sized item. MidMod Decor is an awesome source for beautiful original and restored vintage furnishings! I found them through Instagram @midmoddecor and started to follow. George posts new finds mostly everyday and is so quick to respond to my questions. You can tell he loves what he does. Barbara in the shop is a delight and really knows her stuff! She helped me in purchasing four gorgeous dark teak chairs with original corded seats by Danish designer Niels Moller (1960's). My space is not ready to furnish yet, so she gladly agreed to store the chairs for me - free of charge - while I finish my renovations. I was also looking for a specific size dining table, which she said she would keep an eye out for. Since then, I recently bought a 1960's enamel and brass floor lamp through messaging with George on Instagram and with GooglePay. Couldn't have been easier.

What this mother/son duo have going on is really special, and is 100% worth checking out for yourself! The best part, their prices are more than fair, and I've found to be lower than their online...

I recently purchased a vintage teak sideboard and can't recommend MidMod Decor highly enough!

First, Barbara and George are so friendly, communicative and informative. I purchased the piece remotely, and they provided me with all the photos and videos I needed to feel confident about purchasing this sight unseen.

Second, their team did an excellent job refinishing the piece; there was some discoloration that was totally resolved with the refinishing.

Lastly, George personally delivered the piece to my apartment, taking great care not only in delivering it to my unit but also being neat and tidy while unwrapping it and installing it in the space. They were also able to deliver the piece a couple weeks early, so that we could have it before entertaining some guests!

Overall an enjoyable experience and a beautiful piece that really completes our home. I look forward to keeping tabs on...
