I visited Gemological Resources on a whim after many failed hunts for the perfect engagement ring and was floored by everything they had to offer: the cozy home-like establishment, the warm and friendly staff, and especially the care and attention they pay to stressed and curious patrons. Their expertise in precious stones and jewelry is inexhaustible and guided me toward the perfect gifts for my fiancé-to-be. Later, Terry and Allia helped us choose the perfect diamond for an engagement ring with settings for it and a sapphire, as well as a pair of ideal wedding bands. As an unexpected bonus, they are learned in the Vedic traditions and philosophies associated with precious stones, one of my wife's passions, and are open to sharing that wisdom even with laypeople. I cannot recommend Gemological Resources enough. Prior to deciding to get a ring from Gemological Resources I did quite a bit of shopping around at your typical jewelry stores (like Kay Jewelers and and online retailers such as Jared Allen and Blue Nile) and I felt very uneasy and rushed.

When I walked in the door at Gemological Resources I was treated like family rather than as an opportunity to make money. Terry and Allia took quite a bit of time helping me understand every detail and nuance of buying a ring as well as ordered multiple diamonds and bands for me to look at and evaluate within my budget.

My husband and I recently went to Gemological Resources to look at their jewelry which I will say, they have amazing vintage pieces. Of course I fell in love with a gold ring that didn't quiet fit. Shawn and his team were able to get the ring resized and now it fits perfectly. Shawn even showed me the process to re-assure me that the ring will look exactly the same. After receiving back the newly resized ring, I was surprised to see how amazing of a job he did!
