This school is HORRIBLE ! I currently attend this school and I canât leave because Iâm locked in with financial aid already. I truly wish I would have listened to the reviews because BELIEVE me EVERYTHING that is mentioned in the bad reviews are true. The instructors talk to you like youâre beneath them or like you are all children. The are very disrespectful and rude. Itâs unbelievable. Trying to report it Wonât get you anywhere. I will share Just one of my many HORRIBLE EXPERIENCES Iâve had in my âTWOâ months of being here. We had our clinical weekend when I came in âSUJAâ the director of clinicals came in and rearranged our clinical groups which was about the 3rd time she had done this. So when I saw she changed mine I pulled her to the side to ask If I could remain with my group. I had been in a group with other students that I studied with daily and I was fond of the way the instructor taught. I had gotten comfortable. I expressed to her that I was afraid of moving to the instructor she wanted to move me with because she was mean, rude and I feared sheâd fail me for any little thing. After speaking to the director of clinicals â SUJAâ In confidence she pulls out the instructor and tells her EVERYTHING I SPOKE TO HER ABOUT PRIVATELY and added things. Which humiliated me, and put me in a bad position and this womanâs eye. She âSUJAâ wouldnât even let me get a word in when she began to lie. Hereâs the best part though. She âSUJAâ Director of clinicals told me I had to take my blonde braids out because I can not wear that color to clinicals. So if it isnât out then DONT come. There is NO WAY by Braids would have been out in such a short period of time . And I asked her why couldnât I wear Blonde braids that is a natural color. SHE TOLD ME I WAS BLACK And thatâs not my natural hair color. So it needs to be out. When I called the next morning to tell my instructor my hair wasnât out she said I couldnât come because SUJA advised if I didnât have it out I could not attend. I then said Iâd put my hijab on because I am muslim. She told me I couldnât wear the hijab because she didnât see me with it on. She said this in front of other students. There are many other students with blonde hair that she didnât bother. The students tried to defend me because I had started school fully covered . And some even heard the comment about my hair. I even offered to show my state Iâd which I am covered. But I didnât feel the need to do so . AT THIS POINT that is discrimination on 2 different levels. And you know to keep everything cool because I do attend the school. I sent everybody on the administrative team a nice respectful email stating my concerns. You think anybody got back to me? EVERYBODY BUT the administrators that I emailed reached out to me. I am offended, and hurt by the comments that were made to me. And the school is mentally draining me. But I have ONE GOAL in place that I am trying to accomplish. However, I pay to attend school just as instructors other personnel get paid to work and teach. I should get the same respect i give. I am currently trying to figure out my next step moving forward. BUT DONT DO IT !!!!!!!!!! DO NOT GIVE THESE...
Read moreOn 1/30 during a clinical rotation the clinical coordinator came and pulled a number of us to go to an empty class room. When trying to discuss it she was completely unapproachable and rude. So I stated that I would just take the matter to the DON at the time. She threatened me and my classmate that if we went she would mark us absent. Seeing administration is my right and I should never be threatened for going to see them. I went to see her anyway and made a report on the incident. In which I was marked absent. Now here I am in my next term and they are stating my clinical grade is incomplete and I have to make up the day that I DID NOT MISS. I emailed a number of people explaining the situation and asking for it to be resolved. The clinical coordinator who is now the âDONâ emailed and asked for me to come see her to discuss it. I went on Friday and was dismissed and today I returned after class. Me and a classmate stood there and waited patiently alongside another young lady. She walked out and addressed the Indian young woman saying hello and being pleasant and completely ignored me and my classmate. She talked with her and got her out the way. The assistant came out and asked us what was the problem and we explained to her the issue. She asked to give her 5 minutes and she would call us in. We continued to wait. Their âDONâ walked past us again and returned to her desk. She then asked the assistant âwhy we were there and what do we need her forâ. That is so rude and demeaning to not have common courtesy to not address us with so much as a hello, walk past us as if weâre invisible and hold a conversation about us. For 45 minutes we remained quiet and patient while she had a gathering laughing and giggling with other people and ignored us. After that we knocked and asked How much longer until we could be seen as weâve been standing here since 2pm and itâs now 2:45.she waved us off saying Stand there for 20 more minutes!!! My classmate she had to go get her children and that was not possible weâve been patient for 45 minutes. She said o well idk come back tomorrow maybe Iâll talk to you then. Iâve been through a ton of these reviews and I see the complaints on this woman. So to make her a âDONâ was a joke. I emailed again a number of people and was responded with this. Again how are we a top priority and instead of addressing concerns you make excuses? How are you gonna downplay my feelings if Iâm telling you I felt disrespected by telling me Iâm not being disrespected as if you were there for the conversation. I honestly wish somebody would have warned me but if you have other options for another place...
Read moreHonest Review of PITC: Do Better or Shut It Down Iâm extremely disappointed and frustrated with my experience at PITC. This school is a complete mess from top to bottom, and I feel scammed out of my money and time.Thereâs absolutely no clear or professional communication from the staff. Youâre often left in the dark about important information, changes, or updates, and when you ask for clarification, they speak to you disrespectfully like youâre a burden. Most of the instructors they hire have little to no real teaching experience. They seem to only know what they learned during their own time in nursing school. When you ask them questions, they just tell you to âread the bookâ because they donât know how to actually explain the material. Itâs like they were thrown in a classroom with no training and told to figure it out. The clinical director is extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. Thereâs no support or guidanceâjust attitude. The bathrooms are disgustingâno toilet paper, no hot water, and sometimes even mice in the building. The lab is dirty and unorganized. How is this acceptable in a school that claims to prepare nurses? We pay thousands of dollars just to be handed digital books and told to figure everything out on our own. No structured teaching, no real instruction. It feels like theyâre just collecting a check. They have students complete assignments and never give proper credit or grades for them. Itâs confusing, disorganized, and unfair. They even play with grades, leaving you stressed and unsure of where you stand. They sell this Associateâs Degree like itâs a golden ticket, but the truth isâitâs not widely accepted and doesnât hold weight. Donât let admissions fool you. Theyâll sell you dreams, and once youâre past admissions, itâs like youâre on your own in survival mode. Most of the good reviews are from new students who havenât yet seen the mess behind the curtain. I was one of them onceâexcited, hopeful, and now completely let down. PITC is unorganized, disrespectful to students and staff, and clearly more focused on making money than providing a quality education. It needs a full reset or to be shut down completely. I hate to say it, but it feels like theyâre taking advantage of people trying to better their livesâespecially...
